Iced out! I really dig ur channel ~chill vibes~ & DIY makes it original + innovative. Anybody can just buy the shoes as is but altering them takes creativity, also courage lol I’ve never owned any 6s but thinkin of coppin those brown gortex (waterproof) 6s it’s a women’s exclusive so only up to size W12 (= M10.5) which is my exact size (in other Js) thankfully. I’ll probably color in the purple jumpman with black marker tho
lol I appreciate the comment and support 🙏🏾! And the 6’s are in my top 5 and underrated numbered show for sure. I like the new Infared joints that’s coming out I believe around the holidays but I like the ones you’re talking about, kinda gives me Travis Scott vibes
So sick! Nice work man. I actually like the the lows more. I don’t mind the citrus yellow outsole on either really but the fact you made these more original is so much cooler than just having the same stock pair as everybody else. I wonder how 11s would look with a black midsole with either outsole. An all black 11; upper, patent leather, midsole + icey outer would go crazy
Bruh, you're the only channel that have the same exact frustrations as I do, EVERY YEAR! Although there's some things i like about the 39, their designers seem out of touch. The "story" and nods to the past J's are a BIG REACH this year! Also, they wear tested a 29 with paint and used its data to make this shoe and design pattern on the side...just lame. They should have a "cool" relevant designer partner with a shoe engineer and make some dope shit!
🙌🏾 man! I swear it’s like they truly don’t give a F, as long as they just put out a shoe every year. Lazy is an understatement on the designs the past few years. Thanks for the comment 🫡
@@theedub2415 I did another video after this one, that shows how to clear your soles, that's much faster and way better than whats showed in this video. go through my vids and you'll find it
The 94 powder blue 9s with no 23 on back actually released after the 93 Chicago 9s...buy a powder blue 23 on the back would do to match the powder blue jumpman on the bottom sole though 💯
I was 13 when these released. White and black & original Olives 9s were the first two released in the beginning of NBA season 93. Then the powder blues during all-star weekend 94'. No 23 because they represent the North Carolina Tar Heels obviously. The Black and red ones release last during the playoffs. MJ ofcourse was retired that season.
Dope video. The Powder Blue 9 was one of my first retro Jordans, I copped em for a steal at a sneaker botique. Wore the hell out of them too back in high school, then I sold em to my cousin and he wore them dirtbiking and then burned them once the midsoles crumbled 😂
Damn, the olives came 2nd…🤔, I thought they released 3rd..I never really cared for the olives that’s why I can’t remember when they dropped originally 😅
Mink oil would have worked for the Bred 13's I did that with my Chicago 13's and came out good. The dye you used is good too I used that on the Jordan 5 toro now it looks so much better the red is more rich. I still have my Bred OG's of these from 98 and even though they have been beat down the red still POPS on them. Nike should have did that with these.
You’re the 2nd person that brought up the mink oil. I’m definitely gonna have to experiment with that for sure. Thanks for the comment! Appreciate it 🫡
Did you leave the light and shoe baking for 8 hrs? How many sessions did you do? I am worried about leaving it to long and it melts the glue on the shoe.
It’s LED UV lights, so they don’t get hot like UV sunlight. Usually the more sessions the better the results but on average I was doing it overnight and about 3 sessions
Oh I use Angelus mink oil spray and it brings back colors darker on 13s just in case you didn't know i used it on my Chicago 13s but nice content brother keep it up I subscribed
Man! I always loved my bred 13’s but when they got dusty and faded after an only a few wears, I shelved them and then I thought of this 🙏🏾. Appreciate the comment 🫡
I would recommend a UV light indoor set up over outside sun if the soles are detached from the shoe. I have found the hot sun causes the soles to stretch and therefore cannot be put back on the shoe. Great video.
You are 100% correct, that’s why the 2nd video I did on clearing (icing soles) I did the indoor UV set up. Way easier and better results for sure. Thanks for the comment
lol 😆 it’s not about the heat, it’s about the UV’s coming from the sun that clears the soles, but I did an updated video to this one, that’s way better in every way and you don’t have to take your shoes outside lol. Go to my channel and you will find it. 😉
100% believe that you should complete the custom and paint the rest of the white midsole into red. In my opinion they just look incomplete. Just my .02 cents.
I feel you, I’m still back & forth with it. I think once I actually wear them, that will be the deciding factor for me. I appreciate your .02 cents, thanks!
