I've seen many, many musicals over the years. Hands down the best thing I've ever seen. Make sure you see it. Entertaining from start to finish. Fun, emotional, sad, inspiring!!! Love it..
How can they ever write another musical???? They set a very high bar. Can they ever duplicate the success. Its ok if they can't because that means they have written the absolute best story ever. 🇨🇦
. The lights. The sound system. The props and costumes. The curtain. The cool, timed, crisp, clipped, orderly performance backstage that makes what's onstage come alive... that too thrills. That is another level of the poetry in action.
Thanks guys! I've seen the show pre-Covid in Melbourne and then the day before Sydney went into lockdown. Can't wait to see it again and wish you all well until then. :)
Yeah. The story is not about the pilot, trailblazer though she may be. The entire story is about all the people, not just in Gander but everywhere that Gander represents, everyone who came together in a moment of darkness and evil perpetrated by just a few and showing how kindness and love can change not just one or two but thousands and "deliver us" from that evil. It's a story that tells the audience, yeah Ok, there's these demons but there's also good in the world. All you have to do is look for it.
A thing that may be missed is that the reason the flight crews got the hotel rooms unlike the passengers isn't for some class privilege reason but because there's strict FAA rules about what sleeping accomodations are needed for a crew to officially count as being rested enough to fly. Camping out on a cot on the floor doesn't qualify so if the pilots didn't get the hotel rooms none of planes would be allowed to fly out of there again.

Saw this the other day in Brisbane QPAC, one of the most amazing and incredible musicals I have ever seen. My expectations for it before hand were very low until I walked away from watching it awe of what I had just seen!
