What year is your Grand Marquis and is it an LS model ? I have a similar car mine being a 1989 Grand Marquis LS 50th Anniversary Edition in dark blue metallic clearcoat with full cloth carriage roof and all exterior trim in gold anodized with trunk mounted luggage rack. This car had only 67,000.0 miles when purchased in January of 2022. According to a plaque on the dashboard it is one of only 250 built with this trim package.
Guys used to buy/steal the stock mufflers off those....they were big but super quiet and didnt kill off power. Grandmother drove those all through the late 80s til she passed. Many a ride in the backseat. THose were SO frigging comfortable and quiet, all you could hear were tunes. AWesome road trip cars its like the nicest couch...with torque to press you back in the seat
People are complaining about an 8.2-liter V8. I don't know how they'll react when they realize that tanks have 40-50 liter V12s. How much fuel do you think they drink?!
