Yes, all apps and services I have used for literally YEARS and recommend to friends and family regularly. I wouldn't recommend them otherwise. And yes affiliate links are how this channel is funded ✌️
Not sure where you’re getting your info. I live in Bern and it is most definitely the capital 😂 www.swissinfo.ch/eng/politics/federal-city-_why-is-bern-the-capital-of-switzerland/44577476
@@TheNomadNextdoor The 1999 Constitution does not mention a Federal City and the Federal Council has yet to address the matter. Thus no city in Switzerland has the official status either of capital or of Federal City.
I agree, hostels with lockers. At a hostel without lockers (very rare, but Casablanca Morocco comes to mind), I find the owner or senior staffer to take my bag while I'm out. I travel solo with a folding bike, so that goes by my bed when I'm not riding it. Nothing ever lost or stolen.
I always recommend looking for online/ remote work before traveling so you still have income, but everyone’s situation is different. Here is a video I made about passive income streams: 5 Passive Income Ideas You Can Start Today With $0 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-74nJ_gEk1do.html
The most important thing mentioned by the lady in the video is "a site that you must visit at least once in your lifetime". Prepare to be overwhelmed by the sheer beauty and raw power of the falls. If you have the wherewithal to do it, GO THERE!
2:55 This thing isn't an animal, it's actually an insect (moth): Megalopyge albicollis. These larvae (which is the form you're seeing it in) are actually dangerous. They look soft and poofy but underneath they have thorns for protection and it can cause you to have some severe skin reactions.
@@perfesser944 You're right. I just was reading and typing too fast. I was thinking mammal, which insects diverted from a long time ago. It *is* an animal... arthropod... Good catch and kudos to your middle school biology teacher :)!
Awesome video! Have you ever considered house sitting to lower your accommodation cost? I just signed up for Trusted Housesitter and have been pleasantly surprised. I plan on using it in more expensive countries, like Switzerland. I’ve seen several postings in Switzerland and other expensive areas in Europe. Plus, you get to hang out with cute animals :)
Thanks for your feedback! I have actually been signed up with them for years now but have yet to use them. It does seem like a great way to travel and I would love to try it sometime :)

Hi! I’m excited to be here in your channel and I’m interested in learning more about investing and saving up for my retirement but am a little confused about the whole process. Any advice or tips to get me started up would be greatly appreciated.
Most people either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however. I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter
You're absolutely right about the power of compound interest and the long-term potential of investing in index funds like the S&P 500. For many, passive investing in broadly diversified funds can be a reliable strategy over time.
Employing a professional financial analyst or advisor can certainly add value by offering tailored advice, portfolio diversification, risk management, and timely insights. Their expertise can potentially speed up wealth creation and navigate market complexities, but it's important to choose someone reputable and consider their fees, as they can impact your overall returns.
I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000
It is surprising the effort Smart goes to for an influencer video that gets only 900 views and 1 comment in 2 weeks. I guess they know the demographic likely to buy the car and it is more beneficial influencing influencers with a nice stay in the alps than have some hardened auto expert go over the car highlighting any drawbacks. Still it was nice for you to show how these things operate. ( Buying influence) and the alps are always beautiful even when cold.
Thanks for the video! Just moved to ZH and was wondering if your car experience has been positive? Would appreciate your final view on buying and older car in CH. Cost-time-wise is it convenient? Thank you!!
We have now owned the car for 3 years and our experience has been extremely positive. My husband always says how happy he is that we invested in an older, well-built vehicle. Maybe we got lucky, but we have only had minor issues with the car that you would expect with a 20 year old vehicle. I hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions :)
@@TheNomadNextdoor Thank you so much for your reply! I took a bit longer to answer… I ended up going for a 4 year old car. Seemed like the sweet spot for me :) Thanks again!
Definitely not 😂 While it's true that LLCs exist in various countries, the majority of LLCs are indeed formed in the USA. Given this prevalence, I didn't feel it necessary to specify the country in the video. However, I appreciate your feedback and will consider adding clarifications for future videos. Thanks for watching!
Just came back from Argentina and this is no longer that beneficial. The official rate was $1 = 850 pesos and the Blue dollar rate was $1= 1,000 pesos We exchanged 3 times during out stays and the last day it was reduced to $1=980 pesos. We used the credit card once in a while and it ended up being $1=930 pesos according to the credit card statement. Apparently the government is trying to reduce the gap between the official and the blue dollar, and the credit card companies are also following the blue dollar rate as well.
So do you need all the money for your entire course in a Swiss bank, to show proof of sufficient funding, at once? I could definitely keep on top of all the payments with help from my parents and getting a part time job as a student but there’s no chance I’ll be able to have thousands of Swiss francs set aside before going…
Hello, I looked at a lot of travel you tubers, but I still waiting to hear how to handle your finances while traveling, you use credit cards, withdraw money, carry cash (what denominations, etc,) Please explain, thanks
A lot depends on the country we’re in. If we’re somewhere that is mainly cash then we will withdraw 1-2 weeks worth of cash, hide most of it in different parts of our luggage and keep it back where we’re staying, and only carry enough on us to last for the day (not more- in case something gets lost or stolen). We prefer to use credit cards (with no foreign transaction fees) whenever possible, as it eliminates those risks of carrying cash. I hope this is helpful!

We rented from Localiza at Salta Airport, however we would NOT recommend them, as they tried to extort us by giving us a car with mechanical problems and then charging us when we returned the car (even though we alerted them about the problem one hour into our journey when we discovered it on the highway). Definitely be careful and read the reviews before choosing an agency, the Salta Airport has several to choose from.
Such Probiotics are a waste of time and money. Evidence based medicine does not support probiotic therapy. We are Husband and Wife surgeons specializing in gastrointestinal surgeries for ten years in the USA. Unfortunately, lesser trained pharmacists and general practitioners still think probiotics are of a value. In some cases hospitals like to bill your insurance companies for the probiotics. Just say no.
