I'm going to be starting phlebotomy then I'm going to go become a medical lab tech and then CNA and then RN the event that moved me to want to go into the medical field was the fact that I just recently got out of the hospital back in September I lost my appendix I was admitted August 28, 2023 I spent the whole month of September in the ICU and the spent my 28th birthday in the PICU then I was transferred to the adult unit for 3 days then the night charge nurse came to me and said I have good news for your your going back to the PICU and that's where I spent the remainder of my time in the PICU. I enjoyed watching the nurses do what they did to me. I honestly never thought that I would go into the medical field but this last hospital stay that's what moved me to want to start out in phlebotomy.
Mymy, you're a gem for sharing these tips! I've been using fonto and eraser, but for highlight covers, I actually find boost app social super handy. They've got some sick templates for highlight covers!
We've used this ru-vid.comUgkxwY_GQlMmFUAMhEN7rwfizj6Pi1RPnF_8 travel bed for our toddler multiple times while traveling, since she just moved out of the crib and wasn't comfortable with her in bed yet. She has slept great in it every time!
Without Mr Willard I would still be in abject poverty struggling with my life, that’s the greatest testimony gotten so far after years of great loss here on RU-vid, I do thank him and I am grateful.
Hi! Aw thank you for watching! I’m happy you found it cool! I appreciate it! The exam was difficult. What helped me passed was using this book called CNA Exam Cram Second Edition by Linda Whitenton. I used it to study and found it helpful! Hopefully it’ll help you too! Don’t lose hope! Good luck!! You got this!! 👏🏻
Thank you for watching! For clinicals, they were all in skilled nursing homes/facilities for the program I went to. It could be different for other programs and in other states. But I have a feeling most CNA programs do their clinicals in nursing homes
Thank you for this info. I am also a mom of 2 baby girls and I’m looking into starting school for nursing as well my goal is to ultimately obtain my BSN. So much info that I’ve been looking for explained so well in your video.
Hello, are you from Vegas? I'm also going to take the nursing assistant program at CSN. Do you have any advice because I'm nervous lol. Your video is so helpful, thank you!
I graduated at CSN! I loved the program! It was well worth it!! The time it took to graduate, the cost, and everything! I truly felt they prepared me for the license exam. So I think you’ll love it too! Good luck! 🫶🏻
Price varies for each program and state. But if you’re asking for CSN specifically, here is a link on their site explaining the cost. They break down the cost of everything from books to tuition. www.csn.edu/_csnmedia/documents/program-documents/nursing-assistant-cc/cna-careerguide.pdf
The easiest way to succeed in any field is to work on it consistantly, and consistancy is the key to success. I experienced my self. By the way, thanks for the uploads , a fellow creator.=
I graduated 1967 from Kapiolani Community College. I retired CNA with state 30yrs service. Your program is invaluable. God blessings to you and your program of vital. I also enrolled in LPN program but found it too hard. Thank God for atleast I was a CNA. I took a practical nursing course through correspondence all I got was a fabulous diploma and cracker Jake like pin. Have a great day.
what a good video I love babies my great desire in this life is to be a father although the only thing I would not like to have to change his diapers ha but well hopefully one day I can be a father
if you are working in a basic check-up part of the hospital is it possible for them to transfer you o a different department at any time? growing up my doctor's nurses or CNAs were always being moved to a different department or hospital I don't know if it was by choice or because they had to. Also, do you pick where you start off to work? or are you assigned the experience the school picks for you? I am thinking of going to school to be a Cna or pharmaceutical technician there are lots of perks and cons to them which every job has, would love to also have advice on tips to keep your composure during a stressful situation with a patient. I do have worries I won't be strong enough to keep myself in line without breaking down.
I just got hired to work at a nursing home. I just passed my temporary nursing aide test and I received my certificate to work at a nursing home until I obtain my CNA certification and I'm excited...I'm a former HHA and I wanted to step it up a notch in my life❤️❤️
The CNA program was a semester long so roughly three months. I took it at a local community college. A month after graduation, I took the two exams and passed and worked soon right after. 🥰 So in total, it took me roughly 5 months to obtain CNA license.
Best tip is don't take them on planes at all. Don't be so selfish and inconsiderate to your fellow passengers. Flights are expensive and the least I expect is to travel in comfort and peace and quiet. Airlines should put them all together in the back of the plane like they used to do with smokers and let them annoy each other. Its time the silent majority spoke up against these selfish and inconsiderate parents. Its ironic that these brats are on the plane for free but they make life a misery for fare paying passengers.
... You know life doesn’t and shouldn’t stop once you have kids. If parents want to travel with their babies/toddlers/kids then they have every right to. They’re paying customers just like people like you. And majority of the times, babies/toddlers act better than adults. 🤷🏻♀️ I want to say more but I’m just going to stop there before I say something I’m going to regret.
Hi everyone! I’m a health care assistant in the UK I think in the USA it’s called nurses aid. Because a certification is required in the USA can I still apply for jobs in USA? I’m want to work in the USA as a nurses assistant.
