Hi, We are three brothers with a common passion for making all kinds of projects in our small workshop in Canada. We film and document our projects for fun and to share our passion with you!
Salut! Nous sommes trois frères ayant une passion commune pour faire des projets dans notre petit atelier au Canada . Nous filmons et documentons nos projets pour le plaisir et pour partager notre passion avec vous!
Hi, you can buy our plans at the link right here : ru-vid.com?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqbXBEdUdKNGdYTmxGakVLcFRnMWNYbHRFTlpYZ3xBQ3Jtc0tuZHotbXFNMjRXRnJrWkUzVndkTHZaTTJ3M2RBWnc2SkdwQ1MtUEhLSDRNR3Noc0pRTEhmd3pOZW5IS1BhRThXUk15MU9zdm03U3UzV0RYbUxHSUM5cE50ak9KdlNRU3ZsMHp0ZlYtRnBTYWlNTUUzWQ&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.etsy.com%2Fca%2Flisting%2F1339926483%2F&v=ClSM5alhNZ8 Have fun building!
Ya, like Anyone can tell what you’re cutting or making?? Like the first comment I read, WHAT PART IS THAT, & where does it go?? Anyone can run around cutting & welding all kinds of pieces of steel to this & that. I’m a welder & journeyman fitter, I’m looking for a good idea, I see guys doing exactly that Everyday!!!! Who cares if you’re a french guy, or whatever !? Lol! People wanna know HOW to make it. Sorry man, but your video & teaching skills SUCK! Were u ever an Apprentice?
seen the videos on the building process very cool would like to build one my self but if you are starting any new projects i would like to see more videos on them thank you and have a great day morning or night
Unfortunately, I don't offer that service at the moment but thanks for asking! But if you want to ask a local fab shop to make you one, we do sell the plans .
Really cool design but i think a guard over the sping area would be needed for me to run it. That's alot of stuff moving very fast near my face. I wouldn't call it a dyi, its kinda closer to the mid game builder. But its still cool
Outstanding! Just bought a Ridgid portable bandsaw and I am looking for ideas on how to do a stand. I am going to copy yours. At one point you sprayed something on it. I thought it was paint but it doesn’t look like paint. What is it? Watching you from the Caribbean.
Hey dude - great vid, thanks. I'm a mechanical engineer, trained in welding. Welding emits full-spectrum UV radiation, including the highly carcinogenic UV-C, which is basically blocked by the atmosphere, when the sun emits it. It's very dangerous, long-term, to weld without covering your exposed skin. Melanoma, BCC and SCC are not fun diseases to acquire. Just a piece of gentle advice, for your future long-term health. Also, if you tack in the corners of square tube and flat bar joints, it makes the finished beads smoother (because you don't have to weld over the tacks).
Yes we sell plans on our etsy shop right here : www.etsy.com/ca-fr/listing/1339926483/plans-marteau-electrique-o-fichiers-dxf?click_key=593a3436473d9c8855e7ccac01d5f971835c9270%3A1339926483&click_sum=3f42a276&ref=shop_home_feat_3
"Can't forge today. I have a flat." Kidding. This is phenomenal! Great design and craftsmanship. Video work is also top notch. Top marks on everything.
Those bolts will strip the hell out of that linkage. Bolts mark up mild steel and bronze / brass alloys will get destroyed, that connection in particular is worrisome.
I use a 2hp motor wich is about 1500 w to make a round number but I bet the motor is using less than that when not under load so my answer would be an intermitent 1500 Watt
@@KOPOprojects thank you for the response, We are planning to put-up a production facility for blacksmiths here in PH. Power Hammers such as this would be a great help for the local blacksmith who do not have their own workshops
I love the design! Please consider creating "Part 2," where you explain some of the details, such as how to set up the switch, why you chose to do certain things, etc.
Yes, we actually sell them on etsy. You can buy them on he link here: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1339926483/power-hammer-plans-dxf-files-included?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=kopo&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&dd=1&content_source=6703c23a1600b8d632df02ff89778badd8e46581%253A1339926483&organic_search_click=1
hello let me send you a message I watched your video on making your hammer and I bought the plans on esty. Everything is very good, do you just have the internet link for pillow block bearings? thank you in advance, truthfully yours
Hi Étienne, Could you please contact us from your etsy account and we will give you all the support that you need ! By the way we speak french if it's easier for you !
Hey, could you explain how and why the arms are constructed like that? I understand that the outcome is a ram that has a variable depth so you can work on the metal as it changes size, but I don't understand the mechanical side of it. I barely have the money for the plans, let alone the whole build, but I want to make strides to something little that fits in the hardy hole on my anvil
Honestly it is a bit of a weird mechanic, but the idea is that you compress the spring in the midle so that the arms are in tension and makes the ram "float". As you give more speed to the rotating shaft, you give more energy to the ram going further down and compressing more the spring. When the ram goes up, the spring help the motion by launching the ram upward. The spring also give a whiping motion that increase the force put into the workpiece. If it's a bit more clear. By the way I'm pretty sure I saw someone on youtube tu exactly what you describe for your little power hammer. Good luck with your build !
Nice idea. Can you make it all out of thick aluminum plate so I can use it with water cooling? I'm looking to set up a battery operated portable bandsaw like this to dedicate for cutting aluminum. Without water cooling I'm finding that the aluminum work hardens as I cut, then the cut gets progressively worse. This video is a great idea, but could it have a drain tray, tank mount and water hose and all aluminum to not rust?
Of course everything is possible if you're a bit creative ! But I'm not sure that it's a work hardening/heat problem that you have. It sound like your blade gets clogged with aluminium chips as you cut. You should try cutting oil and a bigger TPI !
