hi there! so sorry for the late reply- not sure if you tried something else but the closest option i found was this but it would need a top coat for protection mosaictileoutlet.com/products/mto0901-traditional-2x2-pearl-square-matte-porcelain-mosaic-tile?variant=42807833362583¤cy=USD&nbt=nb%3Aadwords%3Ax%3A20257781648%3A%3A&nb_adtype=pla&nb_kwd=&nb_ti=&nb_mi=122751919&nb_pc=online&nb_pi=shopify_US_7887649767575_42807833362583&nb_ppi=&nb_placement=&nb_li_ms=&nb_lp_ms=&nb_fii=&nb_ap=&nb_mt=&gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwo9unBhBTEiwAipC110XQ7cTIbX4u0HHejoNfHhGeMyip-0fxXRp27UlJv2zfHSMoTIfE-BoCZTUQAvD_BwE hope this helps!!
You have every right to feel inspired by a fancy artist in Europe. You can sell whatever you want. All you have to do is say in your description which artist inspires you.
Hello Amber! Thank you so much for tagging and mention me, I really appreciate it 💕 Your piece is absolutely amazing and loved the tutorial, good work!! :D 💕
So nice and clean I’m inspired ! You could pass a faint brush with gold on the groves but it’s also nice like this ! Very cool ! How much would you sell something like that ? ❤
If you want to have a quality of life and not be stressed about money..come down to Florida. No state income tax, low property taxes, Cheap Real estate and a great Governor! Homes costs peanuts of what SF has. For what your probably paying in rent, you can have a great house down here. Look up Ocala Florida and see it for yourself. California is the #1 exit State and off the charts expensive. I know people who bailed out of there. Best of luck to you!
I try to find good used kitchen tables about 3×4 or 3×5 in a Habit or Goodwill.. then tile them. I Screw in half inch plywood into the table, then screw and morter hardi-backer board to it. I prefer 24×48 large format porcelain tiles, then cut them to size. Porcelain is much denser and durable than Ceramic. Both the tile and backer board must be mortored for a proper bond. They range from $3 to $6 a square foot. There is less grouting which means less moisture to worry about. I sell them as a side hustle and do very well.
Amber, as you cover the section with spackle ,try using a foam trowel to form peaks. This trowel is also used to apply tile grout. It has alot of uses in applications of spacking textures. Put this trowel on the spackle and lift it off the canvas. The peaks are dependent upon the amount of spackle on the board. The more product, the bigger the peaks. You can even use a regular trowel and spread it about a quarter inch thick. Then put the trowel flat on the spackle and glide over it ( Skip trowel technique). This will give it a leather look texture. Practice using rectangle metal trowels. You will have more control and less fatigue in your wrists over time vs the plastic ones 😉. Your very creative and talented. Keep your videos coming.
thank you for these tips, tony they're much appreciated!! stay tuned, planning to finally post another video tomorrow- will look forward to hearing your feedback :)
@@itsamberskye Thanks for your comment! Tickled you responded to me. Lol I had to come back and watch again, love your version even more now that I saw it again. No, haven't gotten around to trying this yet, but I sure want to. Love abstract art, paintings and this spackle art alot. Hope you create more! Can't wait to see. Take ❤ care.
thank you so much!!! sorry for the late reply, but I think spackle is thicker and more like a paste while gesso is more liquidy. I think plaster is better if you want to build texture. hope this helps 💜
