Firstly I'd like to say "Hello/Sawasdee" from the tropical island of Koh Samui Thailand. As a resident of this beautiful island for twenty years now I hope in my own distinct way I can entertain you with adventurous and informative RU-vid Videos all created with a bit of fun and "learn something new" content in mind. InFUNmation! Capturing the A and B sides of Samui and Thailand in general is something I truly enjoy doing. Many years of exploring what Koh Samui has to offer has brought me to the highest point and some pretty strange points to everything in between. @@mb-xl5jg We have been spending the winter on Koh Samui for more than 15 years and met Joe in 2015. In between, we were in constant contact. He became a friend. We last met him in April this year and went on a moped tour of the island with him. He was always in a good mood although he was sometimes sad. He was a kind-hearted person 💕 R.I.P.

I will miss him loads .I became friends with Joe from 2017 really and always talk with him . He had a very good heart really . Getting ready to move to Thailand in OCT from USA and when researching there were recommendations to get vaccinations for Dengue Fever (also cholera, Japanese Encephalitis, and typhoid fever). Looked into getting them before we leave and of course ins doesn’t pay 😂 and just for Japanese Enc it was $300USD. Hubs looked into it in Thailand it’s much cheaper ($13USD) but just curious if you were vaccinated and still got sick? Debating internally whether to get them or not haha. Just curious your perspective and experience living there for so long. Thanks for your input and the content!!!
Initially back in 2000 when I first came out to Asia I got all the shots Dr's suggested to get. Next time not one! There is supposed to be a Dengue Vaccine but I've had Dengue four times now. There are five variants of the strain apparently. So why bother at this stage. I had Dengue last year at the same time. August 02 and I think I picked up this one around that date too! I spend a lot of time outdoors. A lot of time. And in areas, like the Jungle. I've seen these mosquitoes in houses too....they're everywhere and it's a roll of the dice to get Dengue in my opinion. It does effect your heart , liver, brain too so it can get nasty. I'm on day seven and still wake up feeling like crap. Headache, joints inflamed, stomach very tender, breathing lil hard. Seems to abate during the day somewhat. keepin it Real in Thailand!

Some of the best fried chicken I have had was in Koh Samui from a street vendor near Chaweng Beach Rd and Yai Soi 4. I have KFC every month or so. It's funny how they have gone back to calling themselves Kentucky Fried Chichen, previously it was just KFC - here in Australia.
here its KFC....I always buy the Spicy Chicken....love it. I know how the chicken is processed and I'm not a fan of that for sure. I had the pleasure of raising chickens on my Granddad's farm (well, helped anyways) and did partake of turning them into food so I know the process and I don't agree with the massive chicken farming that makes KFC so delicious. Yet....I do......KFC is delicious here in Thailand. Just go to Malaysia and try it there and compare....night and day......Thailand the winner in my opinion. keepin it Real in Thailand!
Good to see you have a photo of our good friend “Jonny Cross draw” on the wall of your bungalow. Also I remember the old Nathon immigration office where I took a leap of faith and left the fate of my passport to the immigration officer while I went for brunch. Good tip on “dress code of the day”, I have seen some turn up dressed like beach bums, perhaps they were?
ya they were interesting times back then! I still see a lot of "silly wear" though in immigration these days! Older and younger.... keepin it Real in Thailand!

Where was that filmed? It's always great to get BG work on a long running show. I did Stargate SG-1 for the entire run, also Battlestar Galactica and Stargate Atlantis, Andromeda to name but a few! Was a great time. Those early morning call times are indeed hard when your not used to it! ha ha.....keepin it Real in Thailand!
