Oh wow! 😮 I just watched your Video. Looks like I made a choice buy staying away from the White Industry hubs! Appreciate the feedback on the channel, THANKS! 🙏🏾 #RobbArmstrong
In my opinion great choice on wheels.... I've had Peak 4550's on my rim brake bike for 1.5 years now and the main difference i've noticed is better handling in cross winds. Even on the windiest days I'm generally not concerned about those snappy cross winds. I used tune hubs which are very light easy to service, so far so good. None of that internal spoke stuff and no rim tape which I love. The wheels are responsive, stiff & hold their speed well. I delt directly with the company and they're a pleasure to deal with plus they answer their phone and if not return your call shortly. I have new 2025 Giant TCR advances SL frame on order and just ordered another set of Princeton 4550 disc wheels with DT swiss 240 hubs.... can't wait. Great youtube channel by the way!
After getting my hands on the PC’s I can easily see how this is a Premium wheelset. The cost of entry is ridiculous! but… it was definitely monies well spent! I’m considering picking up another set. Maybe the 6560s with White Industry hubs, 🤔 we shall see. #RobbArmstrong
Nice bike and beautiful colour! You have a pretty sweet collection of bikes! 👌🏼 I just recently bought a Gen 6 Madone, but mine is SL7 not SLR like yours. I still love it as I’ve always loved the Gen 6 body more than any other Madone, however I feared the isospeed as I’ve heard a lot of people having issues with them! So far so good with mine!
