@@ChrisScan319 - absolutely agree I love it there. I'm leaving again to go back down there in 2 weeks to work with Sergio on another barrel. It's like home away from home for me
@nexrace -oh yes, I've been waiting for the right opportunity. I've got two that will be coming out in the next few months. They're going to be extremely different.. stuff that's never been done before, and stuff that will never be tasted again, even in a blended batch. Stay tuned

Looks great! Need a lot of milk for a mug of coffee that big. When I was a graduate student studying in Yemen for a summer, they had a tea they called "Shay Haleeb" or "Tea-Milk" that uses fresh, unpasteurized milk. Having a bit of a sensitive stomach, I avoided it for half the summer before finally trying it. WOW, it was amazing. I order "Tea-Milk" the rest of my time in the country.
Do you think someone who likes Cazcanes but isn’t big into red wines enjoy it, in your view? How prominent is the wine influence? I ask because I'm trying to decide whether to spend over $100 on it where I am. Thanks!
@chrisanza2880 - I say yes because I don't drink much red wine myself, I'm not a fan. This had a nice presence of it, but not a very deep flavor of wine... you still know it's tequila
Let’s cut to the chase , would you take any of these over any of the Fortaleza counterparts? And for the extra añejo over the most recent G4 extra añejo .
The regular Cierto line is very good. It is indeed very pricey, though. I'd love to have reserve bottles, but the price makes that not feasible. I have 3 of the private expressions, except the extra añejo, which is around $300 after tax where I am. I had to stop with the añejo.
@scottdavis5749 -As far as I know it's active and they are definitely making it. Hard to argue with the price though, and I mentioned that to the brand. I'm sure we're paying extra for the bottle and the unique Barrel blending
