If you can’t handle chop like that, you really shouldn’t be in the boat in the first place! Kill switches are vital! How about taking a buddy next time? On a separate note, what do you think he told his wife? “Fell off the rich/boat ramp”?
Not a decent boating person, should not have happened if he had any boating skills required for this and secondly he headed back in like a two year old child!😮
That's about as lucky as you get... and he needed luck since he was doing pretty much everything he could to get himself dead. No life jacket, no kill switch, all the weight at the aft end, apparently no radio so odds on coast guard didn't know he was there... and way too small a boat to be crossing bars in.
