Holy crap, this is absolutely brilliant! Would you consider making a video taking us through the process of mapping the Beatstep to the plugins? I’m currently stuck finding a mode for the Beatstep (Absolute, relative 1, 2, 3) that properly controls the knobs in Logic.
thank you very much for this comparison, helps me A Lot, its not the same reading a million words describing the sound, than hearing it and compare 🙏 having enought bucks i would definitely choose the Apogee, but if i didn't wouldn't blame on the firepod, surely you can make the bucks out of it to get the Apogee later on.
Hi Markus. The parameters will be set for the individual project and not globally. You will need to use one of your projects as a template if you want to retain your settings and knob assignments.
Man, this cover is awesome!!! I was probably about 7 yrs old when you made this, so it's nice to see how even older videos on the internet can be enjoyed by a younger audience :))
Do you make tutorials for these? I really want to play this for halloween this year but I can't find an actual tutorial. Plus, all the others are more covers than playing with the song
The D112 won with its feet on its back (in this comparison) It matched better than all the others for the type of tuning of this bass drum. although I never liked the sound of the D6 and Beta52 (I even prefer the sound of its poor brother, the pg52) They are always so artificial.
Hi JoAn. I recorded this video a long time ago and unfortunately I don’t have the original recording anymore. Thank you for watching and best of luck with your cover!
