Hardwood Mills Australia is Australia's leading portable sawmill company, operating since 2006. We design and manufacture sawmills to cut all Australian hardwoods, as well as exotic timbers, into practical, usable timber.
I just went up to their factory which is about an hours drive north of Sydney last weekend. The chap in the video is the owner and he's wonderfully generous with his time. They are made in Australia unlike what someone below suggested. I saw them being made there in the workshop and had a demo of a log being sawn before buying one. He is an innovative clever individual who is continually improving and upgrading the mills. They are clearly beyond start up phase, and they export all over the world, and my guess is this company and it's product are going places.
To increase Sales, show longer Videos of the Actual Machine doing Work - Simplez. Is the Machine just Shit and you do not want to show what it Cannot Do, the Proof is in the Pudding. Talk is Cheap, Money Buys Scotch.
I was also wondering why he is not showing this machine in full swing cutting some hardwood and how he adjust the head. The individual operation of the lifting is what i don't like
Dont show people without PPE, like safety glasses. Picture shows clockwise log rotation. These points undermine your credibility. Is there a size limit?

I haven't assembled my GT34 with this option yet (it's still in the crate) but to be a whole and complete person can you make a power feed add on for me? I'll buy it straight away if you do.
doesnt make much sense that the controls move along with the mill so you still have to follow it. If the controls stayed at the end of the mill, then i could understand it
Your mill seem to cut decent. Your dogs and log clamps are a joke. If your gonna offer auto feed, you may want to step up you your dogs and clamps, thing walled steel and tiny screws ain't gonna cut it. Cheers.
Do any of these mills come without the trailer. ?I'm looking at mounting straight to a concrete slab ,& what would the price of the machine be ? Most f my trees are 12 inch diameter .What is the best suited machine foe iron bark & pines?
Few negative comments on here, I actually own a GT26 deluxe, I've been to the factory on the central coast where they are made, and I've even been made a cup of coffee by that dude in the video (owner) and sat down to have it with him and the engineer who does the CAD work etc. who was there at the time. The steel is Aussie, the powder coating is done locally and the mills are made in Australia by Australians. You can also spec a genuine Honda engine instead of the kohler if you wish (as I did) because they are an autherised distributor.
There's always a trade off guys. I thought pouring gas into my Woodland Mills 126 was tough. Here you'll need a ladder for sure. Some nice innovations nonetheless 👍
Does the Mill come with that Knob Gobbler hat? Iove how everyone keeps trying to market the same old dead idea. Engine that powers a large band saw - period. "Australian designed" means they drew the design on a bar napkin and have it made in China. It is literally an EXACT copy of Woodland mills saw which is marketed as "Canadian" designed,,,,,and made in China. Even the color is the same! Shame! You're not clever or revolutionary. You moved two flywheels eight inches down. That is such a dork hat.
woodland mills is a direct variation of sawmills which they were selling in china when i was working there in 2007 & 2008 before woodland mills was even started
