A perfect song for three different situations. An interrogation on a traumatised deviant, Connor stepping onto the stage to give out a speech to the deviants after Markus’ death, and Hank and Connor hugging each other in the end
Here's an update to that comment I left four years ago: the road to getting a new GPU took longer than I expected, then I had to deal with my monitor breaking down, being busy, ups and downs, and a lot of changes. But yesterday, finally, after 28hrs inside the game world, I finished that run that was around five years in the making. I did it. Entirely from scratch, taking everything in the way you would after being away from a familiar place for too long. I have two big takeaways: 1) I'm not forgetting the particular viciousness of this run, like I'd internalized I had a bone to pick with this title and that was reflected in the way I was ripping through the in-game world this time around. Sometimes to my detriment, I might add, but it was the single-minded focus when I booted up, the hours that seemed to fly by and the fact I wasn't glancing at my phone. I was dishing out as much punishment as I was getting; 2) the way I had to snap out of that mindset as soon as I got to the Crisanta fight. I had to go from unstoppable to unmovable, and the moment that clicked for ne the fight became something I navigated much easier and could overcome. And it was oh so worth it. I love you all. x P.S Now on to the sequel!
