We are doing a similar land & cruise tour in 2025 with Holland America, starting with the land portion first, and adding a few extra days on our own. Thanks for sharing your adventure!
How does Princess Cruises compare to other cruise lines? I have only been on Carnival, but enjoyed it tremendously. Looks like you got some kind of package where they provide lodging at different stops too. I guess they provided food as well. I have always wanted to visit or have an extended stay in Alaska, especially since no night time in the summer
Princess is the only cruise company we have taken so I cannot compare. We did a CruiseTour through Princess which included 7 days at sea and 6 days on the interior. We got to stay in 3 lodges (2 near Denali and 1 in Fairbanks) as part of the CruiseTour. Food was not provided at the lodges.
Awesome video! My wife and I are saving up to buy a travel trailer right now. We'd love to do this trip with our two boys. Question, how did the ac in the RV keep up with that heat? 113 degrees is nuts. I've read that most ac units in the RV's can only change the ambient temp in the rig by up to 20 degrees. So that would mean that your RV could only get as cool as about 93 degrees. Is that true?
Yes it was certainly hot in Arizona. We were not in the RV too long on the hottest days because we were visiting Vegas, Hoover Dam, etc. We purchased a fan to help circulate the air. The RV was around 80-85 degrees though. Since we'd never been to Arizona or the desert, we embraced the heat believe it or not. To answer your question, I think the 20 degree difference is accurate. The RV in the video is only a 30 amp. A 50 amp with two AC units would've been beneficial on those days! We're headed back across the country this summer and can't wait. HIGHLY recommend this trip to anybody. Your boys will never forget it.
Dam that’s cool that’s back when the stands where full and the stands where wrapped all the way around the track those where great times going there 80’s & 90’s it’s ok now but back then man the place was just so exciting good video
Thanks for sharing the awesome video of the breathtaking locations with your wonderful family. Your stills and videos are of great quality and content... It was a wonderful experience "touring" with you all...Thanks again!
@@JeremySalyers I'm from the Fiji Islands 🇫🇯, surrounded by the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It was really amazing to see some wonderful pics of the great lakes!
Hi Salyers family. My husband and I will be leaving home around early Oct 2019 in our 2005 Winnebago Aspect, incl small Thule storage bin in rear it’s about 25’ long. We will be going to Atlanta with 3 stops along the way. Trying to save money before we leave. Will be sure to get mechanical and tires checked before we leave our home in Wa state. How long is your rig? Any advice? Your trip looks great, thanks for the video!
Hey Jeremy, Thanks for sharing your beautiful road trip with us. These memories can never be lost and only treasured for eternity. Please do more of them.
@@JeremySalyers Thanks for that. Is it possible to show a little more about the sites in each stop? I'm from Oz and I'd love to come tour over there one day. Thanks again and have a safe and fab time when you do hit the road.

Hey Jeremy.. I'm at home watching your video .. in New Zealand .. I'm leaving for LA tomorrow for a 4 week road trip around your beautiful country.. Your video gave me some great tips .. Thank you for that. And remember when you are talking to yourself !!! Say NICE things
@@SamPrecisionDental I dont know what they did but I have watched alot if videos and alot of people say not to book in advance too much because if you wanna stay somewhere longer or shorter or just change plans and you already paid your outta luck. Hope this helps
Love the video, how many miles in total? we're in the UK 30 miles north of London. we use our camper to go around Europe each year. This year year we're off to Croatia as we loved it so much last year, still so much to see. Visited Hitlers mountain retreat (Eagles Nest) on the way through, fab views up there. We're thinking of doing an RV swop with someone in the US, that way can do what you did and someone can see from there can see here or Europe. Any way great vid, thanks for sharing.
