I am a Resin & Acrylic Artist using fluid art mediums including acrylic paint, alcohol ink and resin. I love to experiment on canvas, wood, tiles, vinyl records and anything else I can get my hands on to make usable pieces of art. I started this journey a few years ago and one project quickly became an obsession. There are so many different styles and colors to experiment with that I get excited with each new project. My goal is to use the best materials available to create one-of-a-kind creations but most of all I love to create and am excited that I am able to share them with you. My hope is that I can inspire you to create something amazing. Enjoy!
I support my small business through my website, local craft shows and some affiliate programs. *If you use any of my affiliate links, I may earn a small commission at no cost to you. I will never recommend anything that I have not tried myself.
Thank you for sharing. Some of the metal stoppers have "male" end of the screw on them. If you put the bolt in the other way, can it be unscrewed after curing so the metal stopper "male" end can screw in?
Acaba de conseguir un nueva suscriptora,me han encantado ambas y su forma de explicar. Relaja un montón. Gracias por compartir. Un abrazo grande 🫂 😍 🇪🇦❤
I have had success as I use a thinner resin (PUDUO) which has a 40 minute work time. With the slower cure I haven't had an issue with flash cure yet. Typically I have very few bubbles but the micro bubbles do get stuck because I am doing a larger pour. The pressure pot definitely helps with those.
That large skull looks amazing… like someone has chopped off the top of his head, and exposed his brain!! I sooo wanna try this!! The other two are also crazy good…. I love the idea of the bottle inside and the holographic glitter in the baby skull looks awesome!! Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia). ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Wow, that sounds so cool. How did you get them to glow? Brush on the powder or mix it into the resin? I struggle to get the gritty powders to mix thoroughly.
@@resincreators I brush the glow powder on before sticking it to the skull mold. You do have to make sure the back of the druzzy is clean of any powder or it will not stick properly. I have tried wetting the powder with alcohol and to me it did not work well. I have found putting the powder on dry has worked better. In all fairness though. At the time I did the powder wet I had only been working with resin for about three months. I have now been working with resin for nine months and have not tried wet again. Not sure how to post pic on here or if you can but I would be happy to share them.
@yolandatejedaperez1104 Thank you. It's called a druzy insert. Unfortunately, the pink one I use here is currently out of stock on amazon. I found a comparable one that I linked in my description. Those are called epoxy filler and/or a crystal cluster if you would like to search for it. Good luck and have fun with it.
@doaknife9161 Good morning, it's the Let's Resin large 4"×2.5"×3.4". The bulbs are fillable ornaments 2.36" Be sure to get the solid, not the ones that split apart. All of my Amazon links are in the description if that helps. 😃
amzn.to/3MPb8NW Here is my Amazon associate link for the one that I use. It comes in a 2 pack. I have gotten a ton of use out of them. Once they lose their shine I replace.
Watching this has me motivated to give it a try. I have a question quick question. Do you mix the floetral with all of the paint types? Thank you for posting this by the way. I really enjoyed it. Have a great night
*EDIT BELOW* These are stunning... Really! I have these molds and PLEASE! 🙏 Can you tell me how you do the lettering so beautifully? So clean and precise! ESPECIALLY where the lettering is so small! I tried using a couple markers, but couldn't get any of them to do it so perfectly as yours appear to be! I'd be forever grateful! 😉🫶✌️ *EDIT:* Nevermind! LMAO! I just watched the video where you tell me what I wanted to know! THANK YOU FOR THAT! 👍 I'm going to have to try those! 🤩✌️
@MissTique247 I have tried many also, and the arteza acrylic markers (water based) are the only ones that really hold onto the silicone. I always do two passes. If it pulls away a bit the first pass, just keep going, let it dry a few minutes and you will get solid coverage the second pass. I use a tooth pick to open up the tiny e's and o's if they fill in. Good luck 👍 ❤️
@teresareed8985 Thanks so much. I am working on adding them to my website today. @resinistalisa.com You can always complete the custom order request form on the site as well if you see something you would like that is not shown. Just click the three lines at the top left on my site and go to the custom order request.
I like the white sparkly mica mixed with the blue and pink. I'm not much into teddy bears, but I think the flower with the sparkly background would make a lovely pendant or broach.
I looked like the white pearl dropped, but with the pink and blue background, it gave it a 3D effect. I'm definitely going to be playing with it more. I agree that the combo would make some stunning jewelry.
Good morning I love your coasters. May I ask how many you would make up for a show and how they sell. I know it would depend on how big a show it is etc. do you suggest Mostly single one. Thank you for your great tutorial I really love yours. Thank you for any suggestions you can give. I hope you have a blessed day😊
Good morning. I typically make 5 or 6 of each color combo. All are sold as singles. Customers can mix and match and have a few extra allows for those who want 4 of the same. I place them in a small crate that I purchased from Walmart in the craft section. It makes for easy transport and allows those to easily flip through the colors. My husband also made me a display board, much like those used for jewelry cards. It's a flat board with grooves cut into it so I can display them standing up. I have also used the small metal easals they sell at the dollar store to display. I would suggest you make a few sets and see how it goes. Then, make more based on feedback. The pop of bright color always draws positive attention.
You may have been winging it… but you certainly winged it well!! I think the effect is so subtle, yet beautiful… I love the little guy!! Love from Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Hey Lisa… this is, hands down, the best alcohol ink (on tile) tutorial I’ve seen! I always end up just feeling confused and not knowing where to start… but this was so relaxed and easy to follow!! Do you tape off the backs before you resin them? And this coaster is beautiful… I love that colour! Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us… I really appreciate you. Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia). ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Thanks so much ☺️. No, I do not tape off the backs. I use a torch to heat up the drips a bit and use a box cutter to cut them off. When they are heated, they pop right off. I'm very careful, use a mask, and/or complete this process outside as it creates fumes when heating up the resin. You don't want to breathe that in. Then, cover the backs with the cork.
@cynthiacler9284 you can add a few drops of water when you pull it back. It helps break the seal. As more pulls away the water continues to drop down. Hope this helps.
The cavity of the frog measures 2" width x 2.5-3" long, depending on how far up you wish to place the tattoo/sticker. My hummingbirds are 2x2" and fit perfectly.
Yes, I did 😊 here is the link for the full tutorial ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hEdz7BnzNzY.htmlsi=rQ7lDjDBBwUePuqh Enjoy. Thanks for watching.
