I really am starting to appreciate orange. An orange matte with dark matte accents really looks beautiful. It just pops and the brightness of it with the dark accents pairs up nicely. I wishj the 2024 had that option. I'm gonna have to go with the grabber blue instead with the night pony, performance package, and active exhaust with grey interior. Performance pack is a must for the 2024 manuals if for no other reason than the axel.
Kooks are really nice and so are BBK which is why they outsell Kooks as they are more affordable and with a side by side there literally only the slightest difference so absolutely not paying nearly $2k more for Kooks. To each their own.Great video.
Saw this near exact red car delivered to a local dealer Friday. Monday afternoon went to look at it sold but at least I could see it and talk to the buyer, a retired Ford engineer. We both recently sold our older models to upgrade. Only GT this dealer had. Off to another dealer for a test drive. Test drove a GT Premium, no Performance Pack, was totally impressed compared to my 2006 which I honestly had no complaints on. I started with wanting a hardtop manual, comprised with my wife on a convertible with auto transmission. Dealer swap may have one in a day or two with the Performance Pack.
I've used a different brand by throttle commander for a couple years. I'm still amazed how it improves the drive by wire acceleration on the highest of performance settings which I can definitely feel from the touch of my throttle. Unfortunately I installed it prior to making passes at my local dragstrip. A couple important items when installing mine were following the installation instructions and never changing settings while moving. Your vehicle must be stopped and in park before changing the throttle settings or you can cause the dreaded Check Engine Light. Regarding my Throttle commander. I was apprehensive , but found It was definitely worth the investment.
Im just gonna say it im a chevy guy been driving Camaros since i was 16 im now 45. I did own a 2010 mustang great car no complaints. My wife wrecked it bought a gen 5 Camaro then traded for gen 6. All cars to much money now but fords out of there minds. A darkhorse is the same MSRP as the C8 stingray thats just not right. We all know a vet is a vet its in another league. The ZL1 camaro is the same MSRP as darkhorse with lot more power and as good or better handling. Now ford is raising prices even more fords just out of control . Camaro is gone in 2025 no more V8 challenger ford could probably benefit being the only pony car left. But raising the MSRP isn’t going to help just greedy idk.
Just a word to the wise, your IATs aren't affected at the intake when you have 2 turbos super heating the air. Your intercooler is responsible for your IATs.
This is how that Mustang GT should have came from the factory. But instead Ford is so stupid they messed up the looks of it. They've got the factory wheels tucked inside the fender like it's a V6 and it's riding around like a four-wheel drive that's been lifted and then it doesn't even have that extension on the rear wing it doesn't have any side skirts or front splitter. They make the Mustang GT look ugly from the factory. When this should have been what the GT look like from the factory
Just got my GT 4 months ago and looking into adding to it. Car looks awesome brother. Thanks for the recommendation. I like what I see. Any other company you would you recommend I look into? Liked and subbed. God bless.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ss9yM_ujeoU.html It does shift better but I agree it at the very least looks better and I got almost a half inch drop in over all hight..
Hey Zander, two questions. How are you finding the MT82-D4 in the 2024 compared to previous gen? I'm an auto guy but really miss rowing the gears. Do you find the acceleration lacking in the manual compared t9 the 10r80? Also, what are your thoughts on MagneRide? Is it worth getting and is there a noticeable difference between PP non MR? Thanks and keep up the great content.
Ford never should have changed the manual transmission gearing in the 2015-2017's, the individual ratio's were perfect with 5th being 1:1. The 2018+ manual gearing is way too tall, especially 3rd, and 4th is now 1:1. It really neuters the additional power of the Gen 3 and Gen 4 Coyote. 🙄
I bought a 22 Oxford White handling package manual 700A with Recaros already fully PPF'd and I mean fully with 2k miles out the door for $54K in Feb. I traded my 16 GTPP with full Shelby 350R interior for it. MSRP is $67k plus the PPF would have cost me $7k. Wrapped the roof and hood vents black and bought a 2nd set of ORM ford M1HP wheels and put PS4S on them while keeping the SC2 setup for track days. The GTR was $80k back in 09 for a 4K lb 480 twin turbo "supercar" and this is 480hp NA and I outrun GTR's on the tail of the dragon all day so it's still worthy of a $70k car. Not to mention, a good driver will still run away from a GT350R on a race track. I would have never bought the Mach 1 without the HP, Tremec or Recaros. Also, I put a Steeda x pipe on my car.
Awesome car! Came here because my friend just bought this and he's headed to the shop for TT this month. 850 to the wheels eh? My 350z can still scare me from time to time. I can't imagine this kind of hp.
