Happy to see my own town so beautifully filmed. I love my town. Thank you so much for showing Alkmaar to the world. Becouse of my inabillity to walk far, i had not seen all the changes. Now i have and i`m so glad i was able to. .
9:22: Café Brinkman at the left. After the 20 minutes walk from the railway-station it is a good starting point to have a cappuccino before visiting the Frans Hals Museum and Teylers Museum.

Many parts of Penang are broken and difficult to walk. No one in their right mind would walk along Tanjong Tokong which is a major thoroughfare. The City of Dreams, a new housing development has decent walking pavements. The newish housing development looks like a western suburb.

Well, the first 7 minutes going along the Rijksstraatweg is not the most exciting ride for sure. But then, i am from Haarlem. To a foreigner it prob looks nice enough. Anyway, Haarlem IS a beautiful city, whether by bicycle, on foot or by car or boat. Relaxed. For those who want to get away from Amsterdam your first port of call..
