Every time I watch one of these "drills you should do before your run", it's a different long set of complex things to do. I've made my own simplified selection for my middle school XC team- few of whom could do what Conlan here is doing. Not that there's anything wrong with this selection, but it's a little quick, precise and complex for my younger team.
I know I can do it because I trained a lot on a mattress but when I do the exercise with one knee on the ground my leg is stuck on the floor and I cant get it up because my body is afraid. Can anyone help to win against my fear?
Hi Coach. It's not called karaoke. That's when you get drunk and sing at a bar. Carioca drill is a cross-stepping movement that propels the body laterally and will help improve lateral movement, agility and footwork.
