Yes, it's a special liquid. They're using Giant Finishing's B57 Burnishing Compound. It's used to do several things. First it lubricates your media and your parts. This both extends the life of your media, and keeps your parts surface smooth. The second thing it does, is Burnish (Polish) your parts. Pretty much like if you put shoe polish on your shoes, then rubbed it over and over again, until it has the Polished look you're looking for.

Porcelain Media with VF-150 Burnishing Compounding Solution. MEDIA MATERIAL - Porcelain Media’s specifically designed to give you a highly-polished look and won’t take any material off. It cost more than other types of media, but most people just buy it one time, and use it for the life of the machine. Porcelain lasts so long because it doesn’t take material off from your parts and isn’t subjected to being worked as hard as other types of media, that do remove material. MEDIA SHAPE - The Shape of the media, depends on what the size and shape of the holes and crevices it needs to get down into. If they’re rounded crevices, you’ll want a round spear shape. If your part has sharp corners you need the media to get down into, you’ll need something that can reach those tight areas. Maybe a cylinder shape with ends cut at angles (ACC Angle Cut Cylinders). MEDIA SIZE - As for the Size of the Media, you want to make sure you can’t get 2 pieces of media jammed side by side, down in the holes. If they get jammed, you’ll be pulling them out with needle nose pliers, by hand. It’ll cause you a lot of extra work and be a real pain for you. FREE PROGRAM - If you aren’t for sure what you need, and are a little hesitant about anything, we have a Free program where you can send us some sample parts. We’ll test run them for you and send them back to you. That way, before you spend a single penny with us, you’ll know exactly what your specific part’s quality will look and feel like. We’ll tell you which type of media and solution and machine and cycle times and anything else specific to your exact parts, you’ll need to run quality parts on day one. HOW WE CAN HELP YOU: We have people who have been in this industry since the 1970's and have a great wealth of knowledge, with just about anything you can possibly dream up. Just let us know what you need to accomplish and we'll get you over to someone who can give you the detailed info you're looking for. Bill Bill@AccuBrass.com PH: 1(281) 713-9526

Things the size of the rings, soap dishes and anything else less that 9" long, will will run good in this machine. Longer parts like towel rods will run good in our Wedge 5 Series machine. Just dropping parts into the Wedge machine, it'll handle parts less than 19" long. If it's longer than that, you'll have to use a special jig, like they use for running gun barrels. Here's a video showing how to finish Gun Barrels - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-po3TjzMY57c.html Pricing info for the Wedge 5 / W-5 can be found by following the same link - accubrass.com/collections/all/giant-finishing
