Please reference the Beatle vocal harmonies in the songs Think for your self and This Boy . Separately they make no sense , yet together they work. . Also the harmonizing duo Fr a nk and Nancy Sinatra in their song Somethin' Stupid. . Nancy seems to be singing a lower harmony to Franks main melody . Again , I'm stymied . Tia .
Thank you. I've spent a lifetime listening to The Everlys, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and CSN trying to figure out what was going on. You nailed it in 14 minutes. This video must be the clearest ever vid on harmonies. Well done!
I've been using TDR stuff for years and they're free stuff is top notch. Lately I felt I needed to refresh myself on the Nova and your vid is ace! You reminded me of a few and I learnt a couple of things too. I reaally should go to the Gentleman after all this time. Thanks, subscribed
That’s really good teaching. I play bass guitar. I play fretless bass exclusively and have done for years. The fretless bass really cuts through with that 1k and yes sometimes a bit more punch for good measure, though I do sometimes add a little bit of the lower mid frequency and yet not too much or it can sound a bit muddy. I sometimes add some low end 100Hz that works well with the bass I’m using. It has a piezo aero silk bridge pickup that can produce a very powerful low end when that particular frequency is boosted through it doesn’t need much, and yeah has some beautiful tones. Your video is very good ❤
I only just came across your RU-vid channel. You are a very talented producer. I like your song. Certainly the melody and the chord progression. I personally don’t like the lyrics. But it is a personal thing, and as a singer songwriter myself it is personal taste. I know I get excited over every new song. I write songs very differently from yourself. I think everyone has their own way of working and being creative. I am a Christian. I’m working in Pro Tools Studio. I recently started messing around in GarageBand and had some fun messing around with loops and had fun jamming on my fretless bass. Bass guitar is really my main instrument. I’m sure I will learn a lot from your channel though. Thanks for sharing your experience ❤
Judging by the video, the logic expander isn’t for downward expansion then, right? That’s good to know. I’ve been using it on vocal tracks with their “high expansion” preset to kind of tame low-level noise (keep in mind I had no idea what I was doing until now) and it’s been working fine. I only use it on softer vocals since soft vocals are usually paired with minimal production so you can hear the noise more. If it were used on belty-er songs, I’m assuming the belt sections would go through the roof with the expansion, so no need there since it’s usually a more dense mix so you can’t really hear the noise. Kinda just rambled there… Great video though!!
I just upladed a few tracks on spotify at -5 LUFS and got scared becouse I heared a lot of sound degradation. As it turned out, I was just using my data with limit to 128kbps to save some. When I tested it at home, I basically didn't hear a difference between the spotify and original WAV.
I feel so damn lucky being born when I was. Such a wealth of amazing and free information, and even though it’s only for me and a couple close friends and family members I’m making music I like and am the happiest I’ve ever been, all things considered. So thank you a lot. I promise once I can I plan on supporting your channel past just liking and subscribing
I am 21 , i cannot hear past 14.5k hz in Frequency tone generator using sine waves , but in your video when you isolate 15k heartz info , i am able to hear it ,,,,,,,,,, BUT WHEN YOU COMPARE WITH WITHOUT ITS REALLY HARD FOR ME , Is there anything I can do , is my ears permanently damaged , or it is desensitized
I really didn't know how versatile this plugin was so to see a this review has been beneficial for me, my mixes have gone up a notch in quality, and I have you to thank✨keep up the good work
