Do you know by any chance if this fragrance has been reformulated? I've recently read somewhere the newer batches are a bit watered down, lacking even more in performance (what was already an issue in this fragrance).
Hi there. Unfortunately I do not know. I've not heard that it has been reformulated. For me, I get pretty good performance regarding the lasting power but will agree regarding sillage, it sets closer to the skin after 4-6 hours for me. It's more of an intimate scent. I really like them. Great colourway, good looking upper and a good midsole. Real good design. I didn't know they had left Nike and gone to Adidas. Those Nikes are gorgeous. Can't believe i never bought a pair before now.
Yeah, they are nice and simple. I love the design that Fear of God usually comes up with. Especially those with Nike that I was showing in the video. I love the old Air Raid sneakers so I had to get those when I saw they were paying homage to them. Cheers buddy!!
When my Dad passed earlier this year, i took his opium aftershave. He wore that since the 80s. I can't have it on my skin due to allergies, but I'll put it on the outside of my Jackets and jeans.😂

Jamon! I almost missed this notification. Great cop, brother. It's one of the best J3 releases I've seen in while. I was saying to Logan that I'd like these for the rotations. Well, they'd be used sparingly in the rotations as they're too nice to be wearing casually. I like to wear my white cement and black cement 3s for weddings, parties, funerals and such like. That's what I'd do with these. Save them for special occasions.
Yeah buddy! I've not worn them yet. They are definitely more on the "classy" side of the house I guess we could say. I cannot wait for the black cements to drop later this year. I need them to finish out my original 3s colorways. Always good to hear from you man. Maybe someday, I can take a trip over and meet up, have a brew in a pub and jam to some 80s music! Cheers!
Hey, so I've only worn mine a handful of times since I got them a few weeks back. Mainly bought to wear in the Fall and Winter because I thought the colorway would go great with jeans. So far, I've not had any issues. But, I don't want to steer you wrong because my pair are still relatively new. I hope my pair doesn't crumble. To me, the materials seem very premium. Sorry I couldn't help more but don't want to BS you either. Appreciate you!
@@arcticfox19 I got mine last week & they already showed crumbling signs on the vamp, right out of the box. I wore them once it got worse after wiping some dirt off. I'm definitely returning them.

Premium materials. BC3s...hoping JB doesn't treat them like the WC3s with them being a GR. Don't get me wrong, I loved the re-release of the WCs, but a lot of folks had issues with them. Good to hear from you my friend. Enjoy the weekend.
Yep it’s a new name for guilty black which seems out of the blue but it’s a good idea really because the name of guilty black never really fit the scent it’s more of a fresh green scent and not a darker scent like black implies, I’ve always liked the smell of this one but you are right it doesn’t last long or project much, Maybe the idea is to revive it with a rebrand and then do flankers of it? I’d quite like a longer lasting version in either a edp parfum or elixir that had better performance, maybe we’ll get that soon or get a new dark rich fragrance under the name of guilty black instead lol
You're right! I'd love to see them release a Gucci Guilty Black that had some kind of leather and tobacco undertone. Something dark and boozy, perhaps. I had the original black which is why essence reminded me of it so much. At the time, I had no clue if it was a rebrand or just a new scent that would be redundant to buy if you already had black. But yeah, you're 100% right, this one is fresh and clean with a green drydown. Because it's Black....hahaha! Have a good one!

The original Allure was my first Chanel purchase, way back in 1999. It was a powerful EDT back then. I have the other flankers. Extreme is a compliment magnet, especially outside when the wind catches the sillage. Chanel sent a sample of this a couple of weeks ago. I then bought a bottle. The citrus opening is addictive! I know what you mean about the dry down as it's very smooth. BTW...I have all 3 concentrations of BDC, but I think the Parfum is a masterpiece. It's so beautifully blended.
@mtedwards sounds like you and I think a lot alike regarding this one! I had the eau extreme and edition blanche but never the OG Allure Homme Sport. And yes, I agree about BDC Parfum. It's simply a masterpiece of a fragrance. Cheers, my friend!

I had no idea these were coming back. It was only a few days ago when I found out. These are one of my favourite 6s. Definitely gonna have to grab a pair.
