В США принято вызывать полицию только из-за того, что кто-то решил проехаться на мотоцикле по пустырю? Страшное преступление? Ну, да... частная собственность, ещё и пристрелить могут.))
That is so cool! I remember making a video about the bivy and brs titanium stove on my first channel Moto camping gear. One of my first RU-vid videos lol. So cool to see you using that! How do you like it and what have you changed? I’m still trying to get the “balls” to use the bivy system on a 7 day trip myself I just live my bikepacking tent so much. Cool find on the gold pan :)
@@motohobo8826 that’s awesome I just had mine in the rain and it did really well. I also incorporated a tarp and a para cord ridgeline for an A frame over the bivy!
Good video just randomly popped up and enjoyed watching.. What got me glued to the screen was the music in the beginning. What is that, who's playing it?
we gotta make a part two. I just rewatched this video and I am amazed at how far I have come. Still have a long way to go but certainly better than back then.
When I first got the bike it came with some really worn out trail wings so I can't really compare. I like the shinkos and they held up really well for a 50/50 tire. I recently swapped over to the tusk d sport tires and I really like them for off road.
@@motohobo8826 You didn't miss anything with TW's... They do last long ( hard compound ) but mud performance is literally non existent. Dirt and street actually was ok... adequate in a word. I put a Kenda oversized Equilibrium on the rear of my XT250 and the difference was amazing.. added plus was the ability to lower rear pressure to around 11psi made the serious dirt riding much more enjoying.. They are street tires BUT you will NOT enjoy them on the road..
@@motohobo8826 I got some amsoil and mircolon to put in the tranny. Also while I'm there I'd add amsoil to the transfer case too. In tranny I'll fill to fill point and then add 1 more quart through shifter hole.
Like the truck - great choice. I bought an 18 CCSB tradesman G56 when I heard they were being discontinued. To each his own but I hate that shift knob :-P Regardless great truck and thanks for making a vid.
@@motohobo8826 I would love to see a custom shift knob. I want to make one also. I extended the shifter 10". I love driving with it. And it shifts a bit easier.
@@tater0909 they are out there but they are definitely hard to find in a higher trim level. I got lucky when I found mine, its a laramie with all the bells and whistles and it only had 88k on it when I purchased it.
I see you're still running Shinko 244! You've just sold me on a set due to your other video and now this one! Thanks for helping me make an informed decision! Hope you come back!
Sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any tricks you can offer me
@Jonas Gatlin i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Motohobo that’s smart. I tuned mine a week or 2 before the clutch came in and I was slipping the stock clutch on a 30 tune lol you’re gonna love it man it’s a completely different truck after
@@Haydini69 I think its going to pull alot stronger, even stock this truck pulls great in the mountains. I cant wait to see what it will do with a tow tune on it.
Motohobo yeah it pulls great stock but you are going to be extremely pleased with a tow tune. I pulled my fifth wheel through the Canadian Rockies and was able to cruise right up the mountains effortlessly. Being in the middle of nowhere I was going over 100mph up 10% grades in Canada.
It's designed to pull that weight because of the clutch they put in is a POS. once you delete, tune it, add bags, and dual disk southbend clutch you'll be able to pull anything you want. Obvs. Legally the numbers stay the same.. but on private property it's fair game ;) I have a 41' 14000 bumperpull, then I have a sled deck with two sleds on it. Comes in at 26kgvwr. Truck barely notices it there. Keeps me in legal numbers and no squat what so ever. Weight on front end actually goes up by couple hundred pounds with a weight distribution hitch and having the bags properly inflated
That is my exact plan with this truck. In the stock form its pretty sluggish, it hauls it alright but I feel like it could be alot stronger. I also want to add some air bags to level it out.
@@motohobo8826 good stuff man. It is truly night and day difference once its tuned. It unlocks the true power of the motor. And yeah man bags for sure. Good look good as well as be functional
@@dene_christie thats what I have been hearing about the tuning of them, I really just want it to be more responsive and for it not to sound like a prius anymore lol.
@@motohobo8826 sooner you get it done, longer your motor will last, rebreathing its exhaust and burning at high temps is bad for motor. I had my def clog up 3 times within 24kmiles. And deleted then. For exhaust, I reccomend a 5 " with muffler. It's still loud as heck and awesome drone sound while driving. And just sounds like a jet airplane at idle

It works really good for the size and weight, I haven't tried it in the rain or the heat of summer yet. One thing I would recommend is changing socks and clothes before you get in it to reduce condensation. The top of my sleeping bag does get a little damp but its not too bad. If I know its going to be a good chance of rain I just bring the tent but if not I always bring the bivy.
@@motohobo8826 Thanks for the reply! Yeah I know its not going to be great for rain, but in the summer, if i can, I would prefer to keep it light and easy
I used to do these on a proper dirt bike and it still kicked me 44 year old ass! Don’t have a dirt bike anymore though. Picking up a DR650 on Saturday. Using your vid for the courage to enter into a hare scramble or enduro with a 360 pound machine. Now that I saw that KLR in there.. I have no excuse lol. Nice riding sir
It is the parabellum tinted and it does help with the wind on your chest at higher speeds, I definitely recommend it for longer trips. Congratulations on the new bike!
Nice video and campsite. Did anyone drive by on that road during the night? I got stung on my throat by a yellowjacket while riding the WR last summer. Hurt like a sun of a gun for several minutes.
I think that's the biggest log I have hopped on it and I was by myself so I took it pretty slow. And the Garvin Montana 680 is a awesome GPS, I picked it up second hand for a great price.
Great day of riding bro. Love those trails out at #EnoreeOHV. If you want somewhere to ride around mid to upstate SC, Check em out. Garlington School Rd, Clinton, SC 29325
