I think the ship scenario with Sovieshu and Anastasia is cute and a wholesome 😊😊😊 but I’m still not gonna forgive Sovieshu for what he did to Navier. 😤😤😤
Rashta wasn’t a prisoner, shes an escaped slave who took the best opportunity to escape her abusers. That opportunity was being an Emperors mistress, at least then she wouldn’t have to go back. However Sovieshu decided to use her to produce an heir but just so that baby can inherit the throne he had to marry Rashta to make the baby legitimate. Although at the start Rashta was fine being just a mistress it wasn’t until Sovieshu said he’ll marry her and Duke Ergi giving her advice is when she actually wanted the crown. In the end she was a girl who wanted a better life but all she got was a life where she’s being used as a pawn to fill others agenda. She never manipulated Sovieshu since he had planned to toss her out after a couple of years from the beginning. Also Sovieshu low key creepy. The only thing he was really attracted to was her innocence and obedience. Same with Navier, after both matured a little as in have started speaking their minds and having their own opinions he distanced himself emotionally. He literally calls her his prey.
