I came here after watching a poor excuse of a national anthem at the 150’th Kentucky Derby. Why can’t the local school do the job? This would have been a much better performance.
Unfortunately they only get to play "My Old Kentucky Home." Last year they wouldn't let the U of L chorale sing with the band because they are uncomfortable with the song. They used to put the lyrics on the screen. We will see what happens this year.
My band is playing this song for our concert and I absolutely love this song. It’s so energetic and fun and especially the flute part the part that I play is the flute so I really like that part but also I think it’s really fun and relaxing
