Welcome to my video log, where Traditional Archery, Hunting, and Fishing Converge. my name is Daniel Colon and I am an avid fisherman, hunter, camper, hiker, and love to shoot my single string bow. My hope is to inspire people to get out and enjoy the creator's playground and learn skills they can share with others for generations to come.
Come join my friends and I as we hunt, fish, and occasionally find some success in it. I am no expert in traditional archery and fishing, but through many years of thoughtful pursuit and determination, i may offer someone something of value in the content i have created here on RU-vid.
I own the 59 and absolutely love that bow! Don't be afraid to take some material off the grip of your grizzly. You then just need to lightly sand the bow and add a few coats of satin or semi gloss poly over the bow once your satisfied with the grip. In my opinion, it's worth doing it due to the 58 inch length of the bow. Nicer for hunting..
Love this video. We have a range set up in our backwoods up behind the house similar to this one. Makes our lives so much richer to shoot bows. Thank you for this.
Yes, at first glance, it would appear so. But the quiver was mounted at the fade outs.. thanks for watching and commenting! Godspeed and happy shooting!
This was fun to watch just due to the fun you guys were having! That's what it's all about - good or bad shots - if it's fun - it's a good shot is the rule I try to live by!
Yes, it was! Not only the day was beautiful, but we also had just an amazing time hanging out. Thank you for bringing out the Predator bow for show and tell!
Fantastic tip! I will use that idea. I was using a product called Tipjam. Of course, I needed to buy some more and just haven't gotten around to it! Appreciate the comment and the kind words!
Wow! Wish we had an event like this in Australia. What would be be required to participate at this event? What association rules are used, how many days of shooting, etc? We would love to come and experience the event and other great parts of the country areas 😊
First year I take a longbow to it it was fun. Thank you so much you are the only people that would help me start traditional archery thanks God bless you..
@gatortime1086 for sure.. this happens to me as well. We are always chasing that perfect arrow flight! Just keep shooting and analyze what you do differently when you miss. This will help in your consistency. It is always a magical moment when you're looking down range at your target and that arrows hits! Keep that string tight and have a short memory. The gains far outway the missed shots!
Love hunting the park.. we were there around the last couple of weeks in October... not sure when the other event was happening.. thanks for watching and commenting..
Great video Danny! I don't know how but we were there Thursday till sometime after 3 or 4pm on Sunday and never ran into you guys!? We were camped further over on the west side. Dang rain! Maybe we'll run into ya at ETAR again. Keep 'em on the foam!
Wow.. would have loved to meet you. Hopefully soon! Thank you for the kind words man.. we had a good time despite that crazy y rain man.. glad you made it..
The three fingers under gets the arrow closer to the eye. This can be very beneficial for some. I still prefer split finger or Mediterranean over three fingers under. Give it a try, you may find it works better for your shooting style. Godspeed 😄
@@danielcolon4195 Are you kidding , I have to get to the gym everyday just to get to the weight I was before STAR, super awesome food and joe with no portion control, hahahahahaha. What an awesome time.
Enjoyed seeing you guys having fun on the 3/D range. Been shooting traditional for over 65 years, but only shoot in my back yard now. Done got too old to get in the woods by myself, or drive to the 3/D shoots. But I can watch you folks on You Tube.
As always Danny another amazing video and amazing shooting from the crew! Hoping one day to join y’all at STAR or ETAR! Side note.. do you happen to know what bow Jaime was shooting? Sleek looking longbow!
That chise bow "the new breed" long bow at 5:11. I bought that bow from chise amd its a amazing bow. Highly recommend chises bows and also wolfpaw archery. Andrew at wolfpaw makes some incredible bows. He will be at ETAR this year. He teamed up with WTF camo and will be at their booth.
