Hello friends, and welcome. This channel is a hodgepodge of differing topics, based mostly on things I find interesting or have come across in my personal experiences. I hope you enjoy and look forward to your feedback.
I highly, highly recommend the VCM disabler. The will run a whole heck of a lot better. You'll thank me later. This the one I bought. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZbW9ZhXxick.html
I have given up using it. It is illogical and you dazzle all oncoming drivers. Discovered it when all the oncoming traffic flashed their lights when they passed me. And no, it's not broken it's just poorly made. Dont buy KIA.

I installed the cam yesterday on my 2023 Ridgeline RTL-E and you were right about not having to remove the entire over head console. I just poped out the dome light assembly and was able to install everything without taking out any screws and just popped it back in after struggling trying to stuff all the wire harness back. My camera keeps recording even after I shut down the engine and get out. I guess it runs the 5 minute loop but where is power coming from? Does yours do this???
Just installed the IdleStopper on my 2023 RTL-E and it is A M A Z I N G. I waited 9 months to install it because the webstore I bought it from had a confusing video that put me off - I finally opened the packaged and scanned the QR code that came with it, and it had a video specific for the 2023 and it was so easy, less than 15 minutes to install... so I concur, a favourite accessory.
Rewording my comment because it wasn't super accurate - thanks for the video! I would like to figure out which additives and exact chemicals they are requiring for top tier classification, and I heard about the AAA study you mention in the video but I think we'd need more evidence to know whether top tier is worth it. Either way it seems like a lot of marketing. But thanks for the vid
this thankfully popped up in my feed; I have a 2023 RTL-E. I am looking for 3 channel system employing the STARVIS 2 sensor. I really like this product’s integral mounting design for the RL, and the dual channel capability. I guess I’ll just continue to wait to see if they offer an updated version. the VANTRUE model that does have those features gets mixed Amazon reviews, so I would rather not go that direction.
@KVette-tp5ft Hi. I have a video where I install it on my Kia Telluride. Not exactly the same, but very similar process. There should also be a product sponsored video out there somewhere. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bEpNd-sF3o8.html
I have a Kia sorento 2011,( I just got it from my moms fiancés mother) I did the first instructions and it never blinked, I wonder if I’m too far from the garage because I’m the last car in the driveway or because my cars older but it’s not that old (the previous owner don’t have a garage so she never needed to program it) it stays a solid red light I tried it w couple times just in case I wasn’t holding it correct but i was sitting their for a good minute waiting for it to blink
@@CLGill36 Ah. Apparently they did away with that option after a firmware update as well, but yeah, mine is a 3rd gen 2019 SXL with the Harman Kardon premium system, but the screens all look nearly identical.
You failed to mention that if your garage door is locked with a separate learn code that you have to hold that button and then press your homelink button that you just programmed once more within 30 seconds or nothing happens!! i watched your video and it wasn’t working and made my head spin for a little bit!
How are tires not a factor? I was on the same road with my winter tires and had no issues. Perhaps his driving contributed to the issue, but I still think tires played a role.
This is low skilled driving more than anything else. Pickup trucks are not the best on these conditions but many young pickup truck drivers are overconfident and make these mistakes. We see it every single winter over and over again.
That's a typical idiot who thinks that because he has 4 wheel drive in his truck he can drive on ice and snow without sliding. It isnt hard to drive on snow, just have to go slow, problem solved
