Hey guys, Imoto Arcade here! I am a video game and arcade enthusiast. A lot of people in the USA seem to think video game arcades don't exist anymore, and that arcade culture is dead... Well WE all know that the truth is far from that!! We will share and post content about video game arcades all around the world here, bringing awareness to friends and families about all the cool experiences they're missing out on by staying at home sitting in front of their computers or TV screens. ^_-
Arcades are for human beings of all ages and there are many different species of arcades in this Universe.
Great video. I wanted to ask you a question. You traveled around the country and went to Japan. Have you ever come across a Namco "Ridge Racer Full Scale" arcade machine? It's a very large arcade machine that uses a real Mazda car. You sit inside and race using the car controls. The game came out in 1993. Around 30 to 40 were made, but all of them have been lost. I've been looking for one for years but no one knows where they all went.
I attended Penn State back in the mid-80's and there were two major arcades; Playland and Campus Casino. I was there all the time and really liked the sit down games like Spy Hunter and Star Wars (the polygon one). I also loved the TRON games but never mastered Dragon's Lair.
Went here years it was company getaway trip, had a blast didnt have to pay for the arcade go karting or put put golf. I have to check to see if its around.
I always won at air hockey by throwing my paddle at the opponent. Currently...undefeated. I saw a part of you die when she pronounced ATARI wrong. lol.
