I'm so glad this has been helpful during the Spotify issue! Thank you for your continued support and bearing with me 🙏. And no I can't get a commitment from Spotify that gives any kind of guarantee for when things will be back up fully 😞. I've been receiving a lot less emails about it recently, though. If possible, would you mind checking and letting me know if you see everything is back in your Spotify feed or if stuff is still missing? Hard to get a gauge on who is still experiencing the issue.

@@jenkeefe7595 which is extra annoying because he can choose when the ads play! Having ads play throughout the video is fully a choice.

​@@sarathuston7856 - I'm so sorry ads are playing! I genuinely had no idea that they would play. I thought they would only play once I joined the monetization program for creators which I have not done. I have reached out to support to get clarification on this, and searched all over the RU-vid forums but can't get a clear answer on why ads are playing (since I never requested them nor approved them) and how I can get them turned off. I definitely don't want ads playing in the middle of the videos and waking people up! @sarathuston7856 it sounds like you may have some knowledge about how it all works. Do you know how I can turn them off without being the RU-vid Creator Program (the monetization program that requires 1000 subscribers. It's my understanding that once you're in that program, THEN you can define if/when you want ads placed. Just dont' know how to do that if I'm not in that program)?

Hey Emily. So sorry the issues on Spotify continue to effect you! 😞 working hard to get Spotify to resolve those as quickly as possible. About the "freezing/not playing" issue...the way around that is to wait until when you CAN actually play it (just wait a while or try the next day and it will work again. The freezing issue only happens intermittently) and download the episode to your device. The issue is because my Podcast Hosting Platform is struggling to stream a file as large as mine. So if it's downloaded to your device it won't have to stream and it will work every time 😊. The OTHER issue 🤦‍♂ of episodes disappearing from the feed is different and there is no solve for that until Spotify makes their fixes. Which, again, I'm working hard to ensure is soon! Thanks so much for bearing with me and being a loyal listener of the show!

Oh and I also meant to mention that for the ads...if you don't have RU-vid Premium you're always going to get ads to start a video. However, you should never get ads in the middle of the video because I have not placed any there (and never will). But I have no control over the ads that play at the beginning, unfortunately. The only way to get rid of those is to subscribe to RU-vid Premium.
