You didn't bother to explain what the hell that program and those numbers you entered meant as far as what bend would be created! What the hell do I enter if I, for example want to bend a 2" long flange out of 1/8" aluminum at 60 degrees? The machine makes no sense!
I've got one of these and like it, but the stated 5 ton (10,000 lbs) capacity is very misleading. I did the calculations and using the handle that is provided, using all my 160 lbs of weight, it pushes about 3800 lbs, or 1.4 tons. In order to get 10,000 lbs with the supplied handle, I would have to pull down 415 lbs. In order to achieve the advertised 5 tons with my 160 lbs body weight, I would have to go to a 92" long handle. Problem with that is that the handle material would probably bend where it goes through the main pivot gear.
buenas muy buen video oye una consulta me podrias ayudar yo trabajo con el otro sistema E21 stun se a quedado bloqueado el sistema y no puedo cambiar los parametros de de x ni y no se si hay alguna forma de reiniciar el sistema
I have an Edwards 65 ton Ironworker and love the thing. Been looking at this press that’s been out for years now with very little information on it. Not one independent review of it. Makes me wonder if I should even consider this unit.
Hello, Aluminum is very easy to bend. To bend .25" AL using a 2" bottom die requires about 8 tons per foot. So you could bend around 5.6', this would take 45 Tons.
Hello John, sorry for the delay in getting back to you, send us a email of what you want to bend and we will see if it will fit into the press. Sales@ironworkerllc.com
Is it exclusively straight notching or is it capable of angle notch??? Its rare we weld metal cage only with straight notch can you make a video on how to make angle notch with that edward pipe notch accessories ? Thanks for sharing this nice machine!
