Sure Nicole isn’t perfect. But she’s literally surrounded by things that are f-ed up…except homophobia. Being Lesbian’s actually ok don’t forget that guys.
I was on Nicole's side for the most part seeing how fucked up the men at her school was until I got to Ari's route. That when I was like "Yea, no, fuck this Nicole bitch." That bitch became the monsters she hated in Ari's route.
Yeah, you know this school is that bad that your best teacher is a white nationalist, unless your a kid of color, but this seems a white school so far.

It defys character tropes and uses them at the same time which is GREAT, because karane is the BEST tsundere ever in anime. She actually apologizes when she gets rough with him unlike ALL other tsunderes
Nicole is also irredeemable. She's worse. Jecka is better, I love her man she's a vibe even if she have her share of crimes but then again Nicole push her in the most of it.
It's hard to hate Nicole, she's been through so much trauma. And that can build up as a child. Making your undeveloped mind messed up, she's a bad person. But who would she be if she wasn't so traumatized? Would she be any better? I'm not justifying her actions. I'm just thinking into her life, she practically built a mental wall to not feel ANYTHING. For anyone, she gets abused a lot. So seeing her do the things she does, makes it hard to stay mad because of how she acts in ways. Like that one ending "have you ever felt happy? Like happy happy?" That hit hard, I feel like though she acts so tough. When she's alone she'll probably cry, still. Not justifying anything. But she truly needs help. A hug, and probably a lot of therapy. Edit- also, part of nicoles extremely bad decisions. Are controlled by the player. Sure most are bad. But some are better than others. It just depends on what ending you want, reminds me of undertale. How the characters ending is based on player.
