A lot of these modern Gypsy jazz guitarists practice to emulate Django,s blistering speed and they tend to overstretch themselves and something is lost in the music everybody knows Django could play fast but there is a lot more to it than speed it's all about space and phrasing.
non of others have this talent what we gypsies have! gypsies have the bless of music in their blood and not just some pretty words but we really play music more than 1000 years! (it's a cultural thing more like the language)
