have you ever played with under seat exhausts? that would be bangin. dual underseat straight pipes. coming along brilliant.. is there any chance you have a hat or something with your dads tribute on it? id happily buy it.
I did think about the exhaust under the seat but I think we are a bit far into the build now plus I would want the exhaust to be stainless steel and don’t have a tig welder yet! Glad you’re enjoying it! I would like to do some merch but it’s expensive to start with and don’t think there’s enough people interested in the channel yet, but will definitely look into in the future!

i brought them exact clocks for my project unfortunately the speedo will not work as the bike gives out a pos signal and the clocks need a neg signal for the speedo to work
Id have made the shape out of foam blocks, then covered in fibre glass or carbon to create the shape. I find for me its easier than making it in metal sheet. Great to see you giving it a go, looking forward to seeing it finished
Probably could have made it out of fibreglass, it’s a long process to make anything decent imo. Had metal so had to have a go. Can’t wait to see it going back together and hopefully everything comes together once painted
Great series mate. I'm about 2-3 months behind your project. Mine is a 2003 GS500. I recently got the carbs rebuilt and fork seals done. I thought I was onto the cosmetics part of my project but alas, the electrical system decided to chime in for attention. Fun days ahead messing around with the loom. Additionally, my clocks...ah the clocks. I was going to replace mine as the speedo housing plastic was brittle and essentially broke off. Having watched this vid, I see you used a universal digital one. I think I'll do the same. Have you wired it up? I'd love a vid/guide on how you do it. Great job on the series thus far. Keep it up!
