Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Back in 2020 when this video was posted the links were good. It appears the company no longer exists so I've taken those links down.
A Guitar style guitar. Very interesting. Edit: I was getting ready to say send ut back, but you got it on at closeout, so I guess you can't really complain. Well, I mean you cat, but the point is moot.
Just some side notes, the "Last of The Mohican" club was way over size for eastern woodland war clubs and also made of balsa. I have handled a lot of originals in my research and almost all of them were made of maple and ash and are average 1" thick and 22 to 24 " inches long. The Plains style are about the size of the one in the movie as they were used on horseback. A real nice job on your interpetation.
Firstly you should give up the attempted comedy routine it doesn't work.... secondly turn off the crappy music? its very annoying ....thirdly leave perfectly good instruments alone you have made it look even cheaper with the crappy new finish ...regards from the U.K.
I'm so sorry that you weren't entertained. You must be pretty miserable to make comments like this in a public forum. I get it, brother, I've gone through some stuff too. Maybe there's a better way to deal with things though. Perhaps therapy would be a good choice for you. I wish you the best my friend.
I love your background music. It’s really telling a story. A story about a young confused boy, who loves wood and morning wood, but only gives his time to wood, while morning wood cries for the attention it needs too. The boy is confused. He likes wood, and thinks his AM engorged extra forearm is there to hurt him and bring only heartache and strife. If he only knew the wisdom deep below the surface of that sentiment. So the bridge in your background song has the boy learning to embrace the appendage so mercilessly altering his life daily, and he soon realizes that a cool, slow and lazy backbeat is the cure for a painfully statuesque soldier such as his pee -pee zone thing is prone to being. When the boy reaches the ripe old age of 12 years, he tells his doctor that he needs a prostate exam right away, and the rest, as they say, is history. But you already know the rest of the story. It’s as old as the hills on your sister’s abdomen. Boy meets soldier, boy beats up soldier. Soldier keeps fighting with boy every day. Boy beats and beats and beats on the soldier, who miraculously keeps standing right up to the boy. Boy takes up yoga and studies proctology, and soon becomes a legendary ass-man/ meditational healer. But you already knew that. The bassline of your background music really makes the story unquestionably clear, so don’t worry, you have expressed yourself convincingly. And expressed your soldier as well.
Wow, that's incredible. As with a lot of art, the interpretation is left to the person that consumes it. You see, the background music for this video is just me jamming on the bass you're watching me work on. I let Garageband create a random drum beat, then I improvised over it. So anything you're feeling while listening to it is coming from your own heart, Andrew. I'm really glad we could connect this way, friend.
The body is made of swamp ash already, your wood identification skills need work. It's actually high quality, it was just treated poorly before it came to me.
Interesting. I came to the same solution several years ago but used the white plastic polish after going through the wet sanding grits. A deep mirror like finish is quickly attained. I was using the 6 inch cotton wheels and Tripoli to buff out aluminum castings. Later I purchased additional cotton wheels and white polishing compound to polish the visors of my face protectors that had gotten pretty scratched up. Using the cotton wheels for final polish is indeed so much faster and easier. Thanks for the video!!!
OMG, I had to look at this video again (like when you're driving slowly past a fatal crash on the interstate) and I actually remember watching this now! I can't believe you're getting around to replying after all this time. Amazing. Thanks again for the laughs bro! (Edit) So I just subscribed, finally. And by the way, I have an identical fan that's about 20 years old and still works.
You said you didnt know the brand of the guitar. Those front and back cutaways are very distinctive, the only strat I have seen with those 2 cutaways exactly like that was a mid 80's Tokai "Stratocaster" made in Japan. They were a cheapish strat copy with a real ordinary trem and neck. My friend had one he bought new in 1985-86, I played it for months. Those cutaways are very comfy, it was the comfiest strat I had ever played so I analysed the cutouts (which I always thought the Japan guys had gone a bit too far). Cream and mustard yellow were both big selling colours for those Tokai strats.
Very, very cool war club. Great job!😊 I was going to ask you where to source that blade you used but then upon watching the whole video (always watch the WHOLE video before asking questions kids! ) your blade is probably made of unobtainium and Ill never find one (and I don't know your Dad) . If I'm wrong, somebody tell me where to buy one. Finally, your comment at the end, "is that not good enough for you?"..hey, if it's good enough for you, that is all that matters. Trolls and nit pickers can always give making the exact copy a shot if they are so disturbed that yours isn't a carbon copy of the movie prop 😅.
