In your booklet on page 12, you mention sewing the wrong sides together but, in this video, it looks like you are sewing the right sides together first? This is for the attach waist band step... which is it?

I love this top, but I would want a longer fuller skirt for a maid of honor dress. Do you think it would work well with a full circle skirt? Also the bride chose a non-stretch cotton fabric. Do I still do the same steps? Or should I make a zigzag stitch all the hems before assembling the pieces or will it work the way you did? I haven’t been sewing for years and I want it to turn out as good as it can 😅
Hice la chaqueta en talla 50, y también desperdicié tela, ya que cuando unes las piezas, no coinciden, al menos en esta talla, no está bien escalada, tuve que hacer malabares para lograr una manga y sisas acorde al resto, también los largos no coinciden, así que casi al terminar, cuando coses el borde de abajo, no quedan parejos, tremendo, como dije quizá sea en esta talla el error, pero esta fue mi experiencia, además a la persona que según tu tabla es 50, le quedó enorme, todo un disgusto😫😫
Hi, I'm really excited to try making this dress! I wear a UK size 6 and have a bust size of 33 inches with a 32DD cup. I don’t usually need to size up, but I was wondering if I could adapt the pattern by adding 2 inches in length to both the front and back bodice pieces to better accommodate my bust size. Do you think this alteration would work well for this design?
I love the fabric that you used for this top! I'm new to sewing so I don't really know much about fabric weight. What is the weight of fabric used here? I want to make sure I pick something that won't be too hot/heavy when combined with the lining. Thanks!
So when sewing the elastic to the straps are we suppose to leave extra space for that loop turner? Super confused how that’s suppose to go through the strap

I mean, when you sew the zip to the dress, you leave out the end of it where the zip hasn't started yet. For that little piece not to stick out, you need to fold it over the edge to the other side and topstitch so it doesn't move. I hope this makes more sense. ❤
Is anyone else having trouble when joining the panels together? Because one panel is gathered and the other is not I’m having issues with the ungathered part of the fabric not lining up with the gathered part of the fabric. Help!
