How to hook a bowling ball: Buy a bowling ball designed to hook and have it drilled properly. Even touring pros carry nine bowling balls. Why? Because consistent delivery is the only way to be able to bowl on any condition. Trying to remember what hand position you used on which lane, especially across a sweeper, is impossible. If you're a house bowler, there shouldn't be any need to have more than two balls in any case. House shots are always a high scoring condition. What I'd like to see is people who aren't experts in bowling ball physics not try to teach people to do things the wrong way. If bowling was a simple as changing hand position, they'd still be using three piece bowling balls with pancake weight blocks.
It's interesting. I have a team mate who averages 240. When I ask him what board he stands on he said he doesn't pay attention to what board he's on. All he does throw the ball like you do, along an imaginary line from the foul line through the dots and arrows to the break point. If he misses the pocket he just shift the entire line over to a parallel path about an inch over. He's a tremendous bowler. Me, on the other hand am looking at what board I'm standing on and just using the arrows as my target. Maybe that's why he's a 200+ bowler and my average is only 175. 😅
Amazing content as always! Although Mikey didn’t put up the scores he was hoping for, it was awesome to hear his thought processes and what he has learned as far as attacking the lanes on the PBA tour. That was a great learning experience for anyone who aspires to be a competitive bowler at the highest levels. Keep up the great work!
If the LBC is going to be successful, it MUST be extended to local non-Bowlero centers. This means that bowlers can support a local business, and Bowlero would get sanction fees as part of an agreement with non-Bowlero center. Everybody wins in the end.
Next don't apologize Mikey. As a fan of the sport. You guys do this out of pure love of the game. It cost you time and money. You put things on hold in life for this. You guys work normal jobs like us but find the time to practice at this high level and compete with the best in the world. I have the ught most respect for you brother.
Thank you. I really needed to see this because I messed up my right arm and l bowl for many years, and now I am back bowling. I wanted to just quit, but now l am not bowling, nothing In my league. It's hurt and embarrassed. People in my league laugh at me. It's hurts. I love bowling, but l just can't bowl like l use to I am thankful for the video. I will keep watching your videos.
Your video work is exceptional. You show the matches one after another and we can see the progress. The camera work is very good and the interviews are too, You've got a loyal subscriber here because you earned it. Thank you.
Bowled on a pair with a guy last week. Had 3 balls with him. a gem, a proton physics and a DNA… next to no revs… my plastic ball moves more than anything this guy was throwing…
Curious what his song is. Takes 10 minutes to change the brain waves and get in a trance. There was one night where I was super focused, and a song was going round and round in my head, and it put me in the zone.
Was rooting hard for Brad Miller to make the TV finals because he had been bowling so well. But he had a tough last block. Great bowling though Brad. You're really getting back into prime shape.
