This is a comment to the MRH group that ran Three Jewels (American Pharoah) They have announced to their 'stockholders' that they are 'rehoming' the horse; their words. He finally makes his first race and they damn him, claiming he didn't like the kick back. No mention of how he faced the rigors of his debut! This is a follow up to my other review, it still stands but I feel I need to add more after watching the race; for the newbies watch the head on! MRH dumping a horse that was bumped hard from the horses on either side of him out of the gate, pins his ears and goes after the field. Then is shoved over by one of the horses that squeezed him, as they exit the shoot onto the main track, almost forcing Jewels into the rail! He was forced again by another horse, hits the rail and has a hard check by Jomar Torres. Torres takes him out of the race in the stretch by putting him in the middle of the track instead of running him up the inside rail. That is reinforcing a negative reason not to run out the race. Any wonder Jewels would lose interest in the race??? Shame on MFR for dumping Three Jewels after one race! This stinks!
