@ToothTalksTravel Thank you so much! Just a short video, but we really enjoyed Llandudno. We have one more day trip left this year, then the big one next year. Thanks for watching.
@@annualtravellers Great stuff - it was your first Maldives series where we discovered your channel - hope you enjoy the next one - we saw that Rich Holiday / Poor Holiday episode - looks stunning!
@subiyamariyam5380 it may have changed (we went in 2022 but don't worry I don't think anyone knows the number until you get there and it so easy to find, people are always happy to help 😀 ( it was number 9 if I remember)
@subiyamariyam5380 we absolutely love it, we are going back in April next year. We had a couples massage, which was so good, we went on the sunset dolphin cruise. My favourite pass time was to watch the surfing at pasta point. We also LOVED the beach disco ( which was a Monday night). But what makes this island so special is the staff, you will be amazed by all of them 🥰
@@annualtravellers I'm going for my honeymoon in the beginning of October ☺️hope everything goes perfectly !! Is the beach disco allowed for everyone .. ?
@subiyamariyam5380 Yes, it was my favourite memory. I'm sure I filmed some of it on one of my episodes. (I couldn't play the exact music because of copyright) but you can see what it looks like. Anymore questions, just ask 🥰
@LOCHLEVEN12 Hi, we flew out on May 4th and tbh it was too cold to go in the pool and at night, it was very chilli to sit outside, but the second week was beautiful and only a month earlier it was in the 80's! Thanks for watching 😁
@andreabinnie1207 the staff here are so friendly to not tip them would be a very selfish act ( as a British person we are not a tipping culture 🙄) but we always tip drivers on the resort between $3-$5. Sometime more, Thank you for watching and subscribing it means a lot 🥰
@user-bb5ns3xc8b hi, yes, it has a small shop where you can get drinks snacks and ice cream and a small selection of souvenirs. Thank you for watching.
@user-bb5ns3xc8b It wasn't too busy, (Beginning of September) it did rain one morning and we couldn't get into breakfast so they opened the bar and kitchen an hour earlier to cope with all the people. Thanks for watching.
@user-bb5ns3xc8b Hi, yes the fridge does come fully stocked with beers, soda, and wine. It's all chargeable. I have a video on my channel that shows you in detail (and the prices) if you are interested 😀. Thanks for watching.
@@annualtravellers I just watched your other videos on this hotel but didn’t see this part can you direct me to which video has this information please?
Me and my wife Lisa love watching your adventures. Very helpful and accurate reviews on the bahia principe Jamaica. We went in April so thankyou , we got the best out of our holiday thanks to your reviews. Thanks Annual Travellers 😊

Hi, just found this, looking for a video on wortley, i stayed there from 1967 when i was 2 years old with my grandparents, for a couple of years and the from then with my parents and brother till the late 70's, my mother has been back a few years ago a couple times in the cottages they rent out. This will be quite long, i just wanted to give, what it was back then. only during the summer for 6 weeks, it was open to the public, It is looking a bit tired now from what is was when we were there, we used to go every year for 2 weeks, there another family that went for 2 weeks, it tended to be the same families every year, so as children we had friends every year, Your probably going to find it hard, how children and teens couls have fun there, but they were the best holidays of my life, before i give you the week of what did and got up to, im not sure how much you explored, there was a lake there at the top of the hill, also, where the bowling green was, if yoy went down the steps there is a pet cemetary. onto our weeks holiday, we were there on full board, breakfast dinner and tea, when meal was served a big brass bell used to be rung, us as kids used to line up to ring it, as i said the same familes went every year, it was a drinking week for the parents, kids left to do your own thing, there was a games cupboard, with skittles, bowling ball for the bowling green table tennis, it was summer we used to go trecking around the estate, or go round the kitchen, steal the cardboard, to slide down the hill by the lake, What also used to happen, was, because it was the same familes every year, some of the parents formed a committee, these would arrange competitions through the week, an adult competition, bowls, snooker (there was snooker table then) table tennis, bowls, skittles, yard of ale, dominoes that sort of thing, also for the kids, the same competetions were run, expecept the snooker and yard of ale lol, these went on through the week, There was a reason for this, every had to pay for the competition, but that money was not paid out, winners got a 20p wortely mug The money, paid for a childrens part on the thursday, in the room, as you enter by the front door, the room that was directly to your left, used to have a big dining table, it was party hats, sausage rolls jelly and ice cream, it didnt end there, after the party on the thursday night, was fancy dress comeptition for the children, me aand my brother won it together, my dad had made a wheel barrow, and we went round got the empty glasses, we were steptoe and son, from the old comedy, i won the next year as a one armed bandit. the lake at the top, i won the first ever fishing competition, on the firday, it was adults time, as it was the last night, they did there own fancy dress also, some were adult themes, but we love it as kids and teens, wortley is where i had my first crush, while bingo was on, all us kids were in TV room liberary, its was the time of the big show, at the time rich man poor man, Only wing i can remember from my mind was kier hardy, it has stuck in my mind all these years, the rooms were basic, no on suite, no tv, under each bed you had a chamber pot, where you walk up main stairs through the doors onto the wings, to the right was dorms 8 beds to a room, back packer type thing, just before you went into the dorms, there was a set of stairs, we were told for years the devil lives up there, i promise you, for 5 years we never went up those stays, as we got older, we got brave and went up, it was laundry room lol. im not sure if its the same, but you could walk in a near circle around the wings, one which narrowed, was always dark for about 10 yards, i remember going there hot summer, i cant remember any rain, kid thing i guess lol, i just caught chicken pox, i was lucky is was only on my body, the minute i started to itch, mum, up into a detol bath, it worrked, i used that later in life with my children Now, it siad to see its getting into a bit of a bad state, i think alot of that was, the manager of the property, was Mr Haege, we called him hitler, he was strict, but fair and firm, but he knew the at that time, the money over the bar, fully booked, he sadly passed and things changed, all the holiday makers were banned, we went the following year, new manager banned all, it was not the direction he saw for wortley, but times do change, my mother has been back a couple of times 5 years ago, her last holidays as she is getting on in years, she stayed in the cottages, there is alot more and i could go on all day, just wanted to give you some insight, how it was before and how it now after watching your video
I'm so glad you enjoyed watching my video and the fact that it brought back so many wonderful memories. It seems like a very special place for you and your family 💞
Thank you so much! I would definitely recommend the Maldives 🇲🇻 such an amazing experience, please feel free to subscribe and watch my other videos, I really appreciate your comment 😊
They do have aircon, but the sun is on the suite almost all day, which make it very hot. I think the aircon can't cope very well. (unless you want to keep your curtains closed all day 🙄) but there is NO aircon in the bathroom this is a nightmare. But I would definitely stay there again. Thanks for watching 😀
@lewismaldonado6815 I've just looked for you, from Birmingham or Manchester 10 night between £5200 for beach front room & upto £8000 for the over water suite, this is April 24 AI with tui I've looked at virgin (who we went with) and its almost double 😮😮
@@lewismaldonado6815 hi the weather in June is still warm but more chance of rain than let's say November to march. June as a risk of storms and if you like to see the world under the water then may- September will see more plankton which means less visibility in the sea and after all that one of the main reasons to visit the Maldives 😁 hope this helps.
Thank you for watching. I have a few more videos on this resort, please feel free to subscribe and watch them all 😊 You will have an amazing time, enjoy. ❤
Hi great vlog , we are visiting cinnamon dhonveli next week for 10 days to celebrate my 60th we have booked a beach bungalow however we are thinking of upgrading to an overwater bungalow or suite however we are sun worshippers and we’re not sure if the sun would be on the sun deck on the overwater accommodation , can you remember if the sun is on the deck area for during the day , also is it as quiet as it looks during the day looks really chilled , the only time I seen any sort of crowd ( which wasn’t a lot ) was at the beach party . Many thanks
Hi Kevin, firstly I'm so jealous you are going to this island 🤣 you will have an amazing time. Our suite was 721 it had the sun from about 10:30am till sunset, not all over water suites have the sun all day. Believe me when I say it gets HOT!! We could not stay in the sun for over 20 mins before we had to go into the shade😎 take a fan with you!! It was not crowded at all, but we did have our own restaurant and pool (with the OWS) even when we went to the other bars it was not crowded at all. When you get to the resort just ask if you can upgrade lots of people we spoke to did this. One couple even tried 3 different accommodations 🫨 Have a fantastic time, thank you for watching, and please subscribe, I have some amazing destinations coming soon 😀
