Aloha. This will be my 3rd ever gaming channel. I'm just ur average laid back dude whom doesn't scream into a mic. Here there will be various Streams and Let's Plays, Tech Unboxings, etc of various games for the PS4 and PC.
All characters and games are trademark and copyright to those who own said copyrights and trademarks.
Hey man, thanks for checking out my game. This is the first video I got to see of someone playing it so it's very surreal and I just wanted to say you did a damn good job.
@@KairosObj I sent you a Steam friend request because I have a funny story for you and I don't want to clutter your comment section, but if not I can tell it here.
I beat it, it was awesome, but theres still a dozen side missions that are still locked in early access, so Id wait for a bit if you want to be thorough. The main quest line is finished.
The audio reaction is tricky because I thought the sounds was the prisoner at first... You really just have to look for animation changes, because physically they look thr same I dont known, i was way too paranoid to do a power reset and not just blast them after a veil escaped... them eyes... the eyes...
Haha I was a hit 0aranoid as well when I reset that power. In hindsight I don't think I needed to do it at the time. The game is adductin' enough to go back and try again..which I did after the first fail. Not bad for a free game.
I like the opening art, but I felt kinda lost and confused at the start while worried about the 3 day deadline... But its in early access, and ive learned the hardway that sometimes its best to way for the final product.
Yea that 3 day deadline is like an albatross hangin' around ur neck. Not sure what happens if we don't make it but I still remain intrigued about the game.
Hi Kairos! I’m one of the two devs. First of all, thank you for trying out our game!! For the ‘Find the attached financial report,’ it’s actually a typing mini-game on the computer. So, in the application ‘Phrase,’ you need to type what you see on your keyboard. Your feedback is highly valuable since we now realize it’s not obvious to everyone. We’ll work on that! Thanks again for giving it a shot! :)
I actually got confused at first too because it's case sensitive so you gotta first cap the 1st letter. One thing I love is the slow startup happens while afk, so I didn't want the fast upgrade because after a blackout you can quickly hit the power switch, do other tasks around the house and come back to see your PC loaded.
You should optimize your game badly. I got 16 fps at 4k. Even lowering shadow and AA quality did nothing. This is by far the worst optimized indy game I have ever played. The last one I dropped out of was some Chinese Steam garbage that delivered 25fps while playing only in a single room, but yours takes the cake.
Nice gameplay video! I am about where you are in the walkthrough (progress); however, I have no clue as to where to go next or what to do. No prompts, etc.
@@KairosObj Are you thinking of playing more of the game now? Or maybe wait for updates, if any are added by the developer. I have checked on RU-vid and your video is the only walkthrough that I found so far.
@@MadnessSkoll Thank you! I had previously checked a bunch of books, but did not carefully interact with essentially each book on each bookshelf. I have since that effort advanced through the game. Now I am the lit/unlit candle puzzle. Yipes! These types of puzzles are like going through a maze.
@@MadnessSkoll Thank you for the assistance. I am really enjoying the game! I have progressed this morning to the study room with all of the notes and the spooky apparitions. Very good experience!
Yep it is addictive indeed. I like that the checkpoints are forgiving. Enables ya to jump back in and get the climb right. May have to check out this manga.
Was that all of the input settings? You left that section incredibly fast. Are there more options if you scroll down? Doesn't look like we can invert Y axis on the mouse ...
The last house was wild, kind of flip the script... I guess it's kind of relevant with all the corruption cases in the Philippines at the moment. I'm a bit dissapointed I didn't hear the butiki squeeking along, a common sign a game takes place in South Asia. I'm gonna try to replay it in Cebuano lol.
I had a simiar experience! Like I plade maybe 3 more levels than you did, got grenades and a assault rifle.. Like the atmosphere and art direction is nice, and gunplay and movement is solid It just sort of loses its hook after awhile and feels repetitive. I think i may give it another try, I need to stop wanting Darkwood out of every topdown shooter.
Yea I didn't play it long enough to feel the repetitiveness but I understand where peeps are comin from. Try a game called "Sporeborn" out. I may have to try out Darkwood apparently.
@@KairosObj Yeah, that may have been me, because I remember buying Sporeborn and trying it out after seeing you play it and it reminded me of a rougelite minimalist Darkwood.
What's interesting is the mom, (who if she's voiced by A.I. it fooled me), I'd actually panicking but the Dad is convinced his daughter is just acting out. Like, maybe? But you left out, her friggun house burned down! Lol.. Negligence... all a bunch of incompetence and negligence.
This is a promising. A mix between Blade Runner + Silent Hill + Parasite Eve. The bad things are that you don't really feel threatened, just sad, with unchallenging enemies and automatic aim, according to some Steam reviews.
It definently has some indie dev marks, the combat is more silenthillesque with the melee. Guitar worked best for me. I don't know, I like the game, but the gameplay wasn't so good that I'm gonna replay it for the combat. I did enjoy my first run.
I dont get the positive reviews. Its unreal engine 5 slop. Same as the first descendant but atleast that game had gameplay. This is just walk around and see things happen
i have a problem , i can';t get the gun in fromt ,and how do you pick up the claws ??.. should be F interact but its not picking up nothing. and F buttonis set for interact so tried other s but notihing seems to do it so how do you do it ?
If you could show the rest of the settings next time, that'd be great. Especially key and mouse config. Then people with accessibility issues (and lefties) can see if they can even play the game at all. I see a tab for controls, so I'm assuming I can rebind the keys, but sometimes it's just a list of which keys do what.
The GAme IS Little of LIke A Bunch Of Works Left But it Needs TO Improve The Graphics I hear That The Game Is Close To A Cooming Soon Update The Devloper Currently WOrking And I See Some Of screensh.. Now The Game IT self Looks AAA GRaphics .
Absolutely zero player agency. The game aggressively told you what to do every single step of the way, to the point of it telling you what to do to get killed and end this farce. Not sure I've ever seen a "game" with a level of contempt so high it renders the player quite literally irrelevant. Nicely done. Let's also ignore the perfectly natural response to seeing something scuttle by your bathroom door: "It's time to sleep." I mean, I also think it's time to sleep whenever I see things crawling around my house at night. So, totally normal. AND THIS COSTS MONEY? I guess that's the final bit of contempt for the player....
