Same. I called and asked if I needed to bring it in for the $800 GlassCoat and found out they magically applied it while I was with the finance guy. Aren’t they supposed to “cure” it for 24 hours??
You applied way too much fabric protectant to floor mats. Also did not show spraying down floor in vehicle?Did you spray down leather seats? There is definitely not enough fabric protectant spray provided in the packages that I receive at my dealership.
make sure on used vehicles they prepare the aint before adding simonize glass coat. they did not prepare my car for GlassCoat and I need to return for reapplication since there are still scratches on paint and imperfections in the paint. returning the vehicle for reapplication
Depends if it is a coating vs a spray. Ceramic sprays are quick ceramic that does not bind to the clear coat, like a ceramic coating does. If you apply another ceramic coating it wont attach directly to the clear coat.
They should just come out and say it's a ceramic coating. So stupid not to. Everyone knows how impressive ceramic coatings are. The reason customers pay more to have it installed at a dealership is for the warranty which is YEARS long, cause the stuff really last YEARS. Free windshields are no joke on $60-$110,000 cars and SUV's either. I don't know how the company can afford to do it and they really do. Rich people shit their pants when they find out how much they have to pay for a windshield on their vehicles. $3,700 makes everyone's eyebrows raise. Then their face turns red. Sometimes stammering and breathing issues follow... Lol. On top of parts and labor, the new windshield has to be programmed. Which is kind of hysterical. Don't think your car insurance company will cover unlimited windshields for 5 years, cause they won't. Same with the tire wheel warranties dealerships sell. High end vehicles have incredibly expensive wheels and tires (plus computer programming charges lol). 1 pothole damaging 2 wheels and tires will pay itself off (and more) with tire and wheel coverage.
