This is not the moss stitch. The moss stitch (aka the granite, woven, and linen stitch) is a sc, ch 1 across the row and in the next rows you would you sc in the ch 1 space of the previous and ch 1 over the sc of the previous row. This stitch is actually called the "even moss stitch"
Ooh I just came across your page on Instagram and found you RU-vid page. I've only crocheted, scarf, beanies, and flowers. I'm definitely going to try out this cardigan. This will be my first big crochet project! Excited!
Another voiceless tutorial, I think it makes the whole crochet experience more relaxing, whatcha think? Christmas is coming, what are you making? Let me know below...😊 I tried to darken the video so my hook was easier to see (after a comment I recieved on Splendor hat + Scarf video), not as pretty and bright but I hope this helps!
Thanks for the feedback, I just got another backdrop that should correct that in future videos, definitely check out the written post for instructions for where it's hard to see, you can always DM me with any questions 😉
If you turn your work, and use the same color, on that last row, does it change the texture? Thanks for your clear instructions... also the notations on screen.
Hey, if you look closely you'll notice a slightly raised ridge as you're crocheting (it's just the nature of turning without breaking the yarn) but it's not noticeable to the eye once you're done! You are so welcome! Glad it's helpful 😇
Super cute! I have been crocheting for a longtime and watching videos for a longtime. But you take the cake for how you show your work. Excellent teaching for the beginner and for those of us that have been crocheting for a longtime and still need lessons, lol. Keep putting out videos, your station is going to grow and will do great!
@@qurathayian2132 That is actually going to be the next pattern! Hop on my email list so you can stay up to date, email subs are the first to know when a pattern is released. I am aiming to get the pattern out next weekend. 😃
If you have very little patience for blankets then this one is for you! The chunky blanket yarn works up quick and is so soft and fun to work with! Think you'll keep the color scheme or change them? Let me know below....😊
hey! if you're referring to when you are working the corners, no you dont have to "turn" you just keep going, the CH 2 you make is creating a corner that is essentially turning you; If you are referring to keeping the same color for the next round like I did on round 4, I personally prefer to turn my square around to work the opposite direction, but you could just proceed if you wanted to, just make sure you end with a 3 DC, CH 2, 2 DC and SL ST to the first DC you made. hope that helps!
This was my first time making a hat with Caron Simply Soft and I love it! Definitely dont feel like you need wool to keep warm, this super soft acrylic is keeping me nice and toasty in the chilly weather☺. What is your go-to yarn for hats? Let me know below!👇🏾
So glad you've decided to help us crocheters take over the world by learning how to make a granny square😉 leave comment below and tell me what you plan to make with yours...
My first faceless, voiceless video tutorial! I'm not camera shy at all just trying different things. I'm curious... what do y'all think? Music only? or voice over instructions?
My hands-down favorite crochet projects are gift-making. While I love to make my own clothes or blankets for my home, I absolutely love crocheting for other people. What are yours?
