i watch Getafe matches just because of him being there.. Although Getafe itself is totally awful, unfortunately it does confirm that MG won't be able to carry the team alone.. he does have a great dribble and his shooting somehow always hits the sweet spot on the ball, but we can't expect him to carry Man Utd like Messi carried Barcelona / Mbappe carried PSG.. arguably he should be better than Antony in current Man Utd team..
I think what makes him so good is that he just does the simple things well. Scan, keep it, pass out of the situation to progress the team up the pitch. No need to overhype him, just appreciate he is different
now this is what it means when someone says there is a quality player in the academy. He is good enough to be a started for a big team and that can lead to further development. This is what I was expecting from mctominay and what you got instead was someone who doesn't know what position he can play because he is an incomplete player for a big team. I like McTominay but not good enough.

@mikael131 that's a good point and I thought about that but fernandes is levels above jack in shooting, let alone passing. Jack doesn't have the shooting attributes of a top cam ATM. He can develop that for sure. Let see how he develops
