Dusty has been my life-long nickname. I'm a retired, disabled Veteran and have decided to spend the rest of my years on the road, living in my camper and experiencing the many wonders of North America.
Thank you, thank you, thank you - for all the reasons everyone else has already said. Mine might still be sitting unused if not for your extremely helpful video.
The housing is owned by the fort meade facility, most of the houses you see are well taken care of and are all full of employees who work there. We do the grounds and facilities maintenance there.
Great job. This is my home area. I live in Buffalo. Aspen trees. You might want to change your title though because the Big Horns aren't a National Park just a National Forrest. Canyon Creek road goes along ways down. But that road gets very rough farther down. Gold Mine goes all the way through to the Hazelton road. But there's lots of private land in the southern Big Horns.
Hello Dusty, We use a wood decking to keep the price and weight down as much a possible, it is wood and it will crack just like any wood does when it starts to dry out. also, we use a wood decking in case of damage easy replacement , plus the decking protects what is on top unlike other decking.
NO ONE sells the canister attachment for these sealers. NOT even Nesco. It seems that the FoodSaver ones don't work with it. Does anyone know of how to use the canister port on these?
Thank you so much!! We were ready to send our unit back thinking that it did not work properly. We have never had a vacuum sealer and your instructions were SPOT ON!!! thank you again!!!!
I can see the shadow of your phone on the deck of the carrier a few times as you moved around and it shows that you are filming it in landscape mode. So what's happening is you are exporting it in portrait/vertical mode. I don't use vegas pro or any apple products, so I can't tell you what menus to find the settings you need to change when you export your videos. But looking at your video it's easy to tell that is what needs to be changed to fix the "weird format" you are talking about. Hope you get it figured out.
Not to be a buzz kill but I bought a vacuum sealer on Amazon for $14 and it works as good if not better than my food saver... something to consider when looking
An update for you... I've been here for just over two months now and absolutely LOVE it! Been getting a fair amount of rain and as a result.. the place looks like a Country Club Golf Course. The Campground is only 1/3 full, so it has not had that crowded feeling that many campgrounds have. This is definitely going to be my Come-to Campground during the summer months. So much to do in the area.
I have the VS-02 model. A little different. Mine has the heating element in the cover. Just got it on ebay new(?) but without bags/rolls or instructions. Does this model have a round rubber strip like a dowel running along it in the cover, opposite to what I have? Seems kind of odd. Probably how it's suposed to work though? Thanks for a great "how to" video, btw.
@@dustytravels9458 Got it figgered out. Mine's just different. Have to seal it a second time if you want a double seal. Not difficult. The rubber seal on mine is proper. Thing is, I just got this and I thought the seal button was going bad as soon as I got the hang of it. Had to push it several times to get the button to work. Turns out it just needs time to cool between uses for a few seconds. Probably said that in the instructions if I had them. Might be useful info for anyone else happening by who thinks their button is faulty. Thanks for the reply, sir.
