Thanks to all 40 people who watched this the first year, hopefully it dosent suck too bad, but maybe it does. If anyone happens to see the video and reads this, let me know how it can be better.
Thanks to everyone checking out my video If you like something about any of my videos, be sure to let me know and I'll make more of what you enjoy seeing.
Thanks for checking out this video. I did coat the entire bike, didn't show it all, wanted to keep the video short. Thanks for dealing with my humor as I create these video. Hope you enjoyed it
this video is doing pretty well, considering my channel dosent get that many views. I tried to be a little funny, but what made you consider watching something 2 hours long?
I'm not a big fan of windshield coatings either. There are so many glass sealants that are so good now. Apex BC4, Nasiol Glass Shield, Glaco DX & Ultra. That Tesla turned out great!
Hey FTAD, older video but really enjoyed it! Bought a vibe today and staring at it overwhelmed by its disease, a lot like yours. You have saved me hours! I’m just going to blast it out! I picked up a lot of tips although I don’t have the equipment I understand the big picture better. Thanks
@@richardwarrack871 hey man, thanks for checking it out! There are a bunch of links to products you can get off Amazon if you wanna check some out. If you have any questions let me know if I can help.
Thank you to everyone who watched this video. Most of my videos don't get this many views in a year, you all checking it out in just a couple weeks. THANK YOU🎉
Ive had mine for less than a year and i started experience problems sadly with the pump- it would make a weird noise and not spray any water. What are some maintenance tips you have? would you flush it out with vinegar and water solution? for me the system maintainer is too expensive to practically use every week or so
@@bilal-5706 I don't use this daily, but I keep it clean by making sure it's empty and running clean water through the top and flushing it out empty port on back
I did do a 3 year video on it , maybe should do a 5 year. But honestly this thing has made me so much money it's redicoulas. I saw Larry from AMMO talk about the old vx5000 and I wanted one so bad. I put some money out on it and was a little disappointed at how long it took to cool off so I could refill, only to heat back up. With this holding a gallon or a little more, I can use maybe over a half gallon of water per vehicle on average. I did let it go a little long on cleaning out the machine, I wrote the guys at chief and told them what it wasn't doing, they sent a replacement part, only about 28 dollars and I had it going again in 30 minutes. Still a beast of a machine and hasn't let me down other than my own fault
@@finaltouchautodetailingllc Thanks so much for the reply. In terms of cleaning power which did you think served better - the vx5000 or the chief steamer. The thing that seems really nice about the vx5000 is that 3rd bazooka switch which allows you to really flush something like floor mats. does the chief do a similar job if you have the steam all the way up?
@@bilal-5706 on this chief, there is a button you press with your thumb, it's the chemical injector, I normally use water only in that jug, and it blast a strong stream of water through the hose, it is good for floor mats engine bay, door jams that have dirt built up in them. I tried to see if chief Steamer would allow me a referral or affiliate program, they said no, but I'm getting nothing in return for promotion. I'm just saying it is honestly a great tool. It was about $1,800 when I bought it. I used paypal finance. So I could have it like now, and make money now to pay for it and it was worth it. Not saying just because you go in debt you're gonna make more money, but me saving time on my work allowed me to do more cars. Which in turn helped me make more $. Did I ask if you saw the follow up video?
@@finaltouchautodetailingllc yes! i was able to see the follow up video, very nice review. i ended up buying the chief steamer 125- is there any email i can reach you at?
Honestly I believe I did this for free as I was starting my RU-vid channel and wanted a turd of a vehicle to essentially showcase my work. To hopefully gain some new customers, it has been my most watched video, but I still haven't been able to gain enough subs to get monetized. Most folks who let cars get this bad aren't able to afford to have a pro actually clean it properly. Thank you for watching, and leaving a comment.
Let me know, do you enjoy seeing the process or more of before and after? Should I not talk? Or tell what is going on? Trying to create more of what the viewer wants to see. Thanks for the input..
It does, it has a trigger button you squeeze with your index finger, and a button you squeeze/press with your thumb. It draws from the other bottle as it is more of a chemical injection button. It is very hot from there as well, I use that for just a steady stream of hot water. I talk about it more on the follow up video of 3 years of ownership video. Looking back I feel this is hard to watch , as I was new to talking to the camera the second video is better.
Have you taken the top off and checked the pump? It's not too bad of surgery. I left water in mine once and the temp dropped too much in the garage and the pump froze just enough to crack the plastic housing.
@@finaltouchautodetailingllchey man , I could really use your help , do you have an email I can reach you by and I can send a video of the interior components, I think it might be a loose screw
@@ChromeandClean sure , if you like, send some photos to Dspear79@yahoo.com put Extractor help in the subject if you will, I get a ton of junk mail so I may have to be on a close lookout for your email
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my videos. I hope you enjoy the serious parts, which is most of the video. But I hope you also like the silliness and sarcasm too. Give it a thums up or down if you want , they both do the same to help me out.
Amazing transformation buddy. I have recently purchased the chief 125 steamer and getting used to it on cleaning the interiors. Question for you, are you using the steamer on full blast or have you adjusted the knob on it to half or something?
Thanks for watching. I normally turn it to max then back it down approximately 25% I dont think I'd need max steam on most occasions. If it is on full blast I feel like it has a harder time keeping good pressure.
I just bought a 2008 Aspen, I love it, it's a rocket. It has a few issues but better than this one. How do I get the foggy look off the headlight lenses?
Thank you for watching, you could send me a photo to my business Facebook page.so I can get a look at them and see what your working with to determine the best method of attack. Facebook.com/ftad1

Yes, it is a Chief 125 . I have a video I probably talk too much , but I was talking about the machine and how awesome I think it is after owning it several years. I believe I've owned it for about 5 or 6 years now. Thanks for checking the video out.
That's pretty cool! Next they need to make a foam cannon with a quick connect nozzle so that you can add an extension without having the bottle out toward the end.
@finaltouchautodetailingllc Yeh, so imagine a stubby gun with the foam cannon attached, but at the nozzle is a quick connect that can attach to an extension wand, then connect the foam nozzle to the wand. This way, the bottle isn't out at the end of the extension wand. Then, you can also remove the wand, and just have a regular foam cannon on a short gun. I see people doing the bottle on a pole in a lot of videos, and it's just so awkward looking.
@@chrisgermany5919 I got ya, I have a long wand that came with the pressure washer, but by the time you have 4 feet of wand and a foam cannon, it's almost like I'm jousting with the car, so I bought just a handle, I have a few short wand parts that came with the under sprayer I think I could attach in a manner like you're talking about I believe. That is a great idea. I'll have to give it a try
Great video! I own a residential & commercial detailing service. I have the dupray neat now that works amazing. It’s def time for an upgrade so i’m looking into to the chief steamer 100. Few questions, how ofter do you have to clean the boiler? And when you do refill while using do you add the water straight into the machine or thru the plastic refill bottles? Thanks!!
Great question, with the maching in this video, you would add water to the One gallon plastic container that sits on top and does come with this unit. With a 100 model, you funnel it into the machine. Depending on what all you do with your business you may want the parts that come stock with this machine, take note when ordering there is a cheaper option that has less parts. I'm not sure what all parts are left out but it's an option that caters to the Detailing community, and leave parts out most detailers wouldn't like, but I like to steam my home floors and wanted the extra parts. Boiler , it depends on how often you use it and how hard your water is, but I honestly dump my boiler one time every 2 to 3 months, take the plug out when it's cold and there is normally a little mineral deposits on the hole, I poke a small hex key in and wiggle it a bit and it comes out. I was told by the company pour 1 cup of distilled vinegar in and let that clean the system. It smells a little vinegar for a while but goes away. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions
I don't dilute solution finish, just pour the little resivor half full and didn't ues the half for mirrors front cowl and bed top trim, little goes a long way, generally you will get 1 to 2 years with solution finish. When spraying you'd definitely want to use a respirator, it is much faster to spray, but could be a little wasteful spraying but time is money. Thanks for watching, and taking the time to comment.
As I do use and love both products. For restoration, solution finish it is far better than 303. But use 303 on top of solution finish to help maintain the plastic. Have you checked out my most recent video? There is some good footage of solution finish being used in that video as well.
Other than clean the dirt off, no. I will not put anything that could be slick on a part that someone may step on as I wont risk someone having a slip. Don't want anyone getting harmed.
@@BobSmith-yo6ib it's cool, I did not use 303 on anything on the outside of this truck, only on the surface of the dash. Don't believe I show that in this video.
I'd check the easiest things first, if you have a small wire brush, like the tooth brush style, or even an old tooth brush, and make sure the brass tip is cleaned, make sure nothing is stuck inside of it. If you have to, use compressed air to blow into the tip and force air back up the line towards the pump, but disconnect the water hose first. See if that helps clear whatever may be stuck. If this doesn't help, let me know and we can work from there
