Anyone remember the line "When Asked what he was doing in the Fountain at the middle of the night, with Dancers from the show ...Swann replied the backstroke"....LOL
@@melimugre It means that if Jim got infected with Rage, Selena will kill Jim immediately. But Selena hesitated to kill Jim because she wasn’t sure if he was actually infected, so she waited for him to attack her.
Jim was executed for attacking the soldiers (once they were rescued.) Hannah was out into foster care I think. And Selena got talked into returning to the quarantine zone by some journalists. It's all explained in a comic I can't recall the name of. But FilmComicsExplained covered some of it.
This scene is amazing because it proves we are no better than the ones with rage virus we all feel the same as those rage infected one point in are life just we can can usually control it most of the times
@El Mitcho Agreed, both movies have a huge difference on the way they're handled, it feels like the sequel is an american adaptation of an already existing sequel. 28 Days had moments of calm, reminds you about how things changed in a heart beat but not everything is lost, it was scary, yet wholesome. 28 Weeks puts you on the eye of the storm, which sounds cool and makes sense for the aussence of those moments of joy since everything is just breaking apart, but goddamn it makes no effort on making you care about the characters, there's wasted potential on it and the aussence of Danny Boyle is clear.
Indeed, from the department moments to the car ride and so on, it all comes good with the rest of the movie because they don't feel out of place, there's joy calm in the middle of the depressing state of the country, the worst part already happened. The sequel in the other hand, yeah it's pure damn chaos, it's not bad as it's placed in the middle of the storm, makes sense there's almost no moment of relief like 28 Days.
probably my favourite scene from a movie ever, so much tension throughout the whole thing and right as shes about to swing the machete, and you think shes going to kill him everything stops and he comes back with a callback from earlier in the movie. fucking incredible.
What's the point of living after that huh? Jim had. Nothing to lose. Either he saves them, or dies and doesnt have to suffer anymore. The alternative was not an option.
"That was a movie. This is real life." "What is the difference?" LMAO! This is absolutely brilliant. Sparkling dialogue, some really touching moments and, last but not least, Peter O'Toole at his best make this movie a real treat. Rest in peace, dear!
