Eh my issue is that if I need a blazer and layers, it means it moderately cold which means high heel sandals are not my first choice of shoes. I would love to see more shoes examples that are not sandals but still make the silhouette look lighter in colder days
Hello Nina, could you write how did you record this amazing video - camera / iphone, mic, light? You look so great on the video <3 Thank U for sharing!
Hi Paulina, thanks! I filmed it on iphone using cinematic mode (back camera). And I just had a small ring light in front of me, but the natural light was great at the moment of filming too. Honestly, it takes a bit of tweaking, finding the right angle, light, time for filming.. I was previously filming the videos in my office, but the light was much worse.
But remember guys that often the more pointed the shoe the less comfortable it will be. Also, I love my rounded ballet flats, they compliment my style. So this is your reminder that there is no one style fits all type of fashion (look up Kibbe body types) What looks perfect on some may look completely off on others and being comfortable and confident in what you choose to wear will always make you look and feel amazing.❤
Saying that Mary Jane’s are not “timeless” shows that you have probably zero background in fashion or a very superficial one - truly one of the most timeless shoe models, what the heck are you talking about? Not even a huge fan of them, but come on 😅
I have one of these low shaft boots and I agree that it looks dated. It's a good quality genuine leather boot though. So I don't think it is OK to just throw it away or donate (which is likely to also end up in a landfill). I wear the low shaft boots with wide leg pants instead of skinny pants as I used to do when I first got the boots. We can still wear outdated items if we know how to style them.
Yes I understand this but “what is trending” is always changing so if you find something that is comfortable, practical and makes you happy I don’t see why it should matter if it’s in style. (this is just my opinion)
And that's also one of the most sustainable and affordable ways of styling yourself. Trends often last a season possibly two before they are out of style and people have to go and buy something completely different to stay on trend. It's just a terrible way of consuming. 😂

Hey Nina, how do I learn to distinguish between modern classic and dated pieces? I'm really struggling with it and my wardrobe surely looks dated even if I have some classic looking pieces. Do you know any brands that have most modern classic clothes so the risk of buying dated pieces is lower?
