Well, the only airline that uses the 737NGs in India are Air India Express and Spicejet. That too, around 40 of them are operational. Pre COVID-19, 737NGs were widely used in India and were a common sight at Indian Airports. Now with Jet Airways shut and Spicejet struggling (due to which most of their 737s are grounded), the 737NGs are becoming rare in India.
@@Airscapebytoby The thing is I hate the Boeing Sky Interiors and even some 737NGs seem to be fitted with them which is such a disappointment. I have only once luckily managed to fly on the old 737 interiors but that too was with SpiceJet on and older aircraft purchased from Jet Airways. I wish we had more of the older interiors in India like the US and UK.
Hi, so the seats are very thin. Don’t expect too much of cushioning. The leg space felt tight and I’m 5’9 - 5’10. I always have a headache when flying on 737 MAX but since this was a shorter flight, I didn’t feel much. The aircraft otherwise had a nice ambience and in-flight lighting.
Oh, and comparing it with A320 NEO, it was no where close. I am sorry but the A320s feel way more comfortable than the 737s. I also spoke of it in my recent review of IndiGo.

FYI, the seats weren't refurbished and were previously used by Jet Airways only the refurbishment was done... by removing business class seats and adding economy class seats with they call it as Spicemax

Hi, thank you so much for the suggestion. We try our best to keep the background noise the least in places there's a voiceover. You can share the timestamp and we'll see if we've missed something somewhere.
@@yeavgeek No actually I'm not talking about the noise during the voice over you see when ur just normally taking a shot without speaking and then when u suddenly speak I am not able to hear u even with the max volume.Thats when I'm telling u to remove the background voice.One of my relatives also noticed...

SpiceJet was a nice airline long before the pandemic days. I remember, in 2016 for my sikkim trip, I flew Mumbai - Delhi - Kolkata - Bagdogra in a single day, with all those flights on SpiceJet! We actually used to prefer SpiceJet over IndiGo then. Unfortunately the pandemic, coupled with the Boeing 737 MAX groundings really hit them hard, or else they would've most probably be in a more respectable position today.
I am glad to know that. Regrettably, the 737 snag is costing a lot of airlines dearly. Honestly, I am emotionally too fragile to see another Indian airline close. 😂
Really nice filming of your trip, and I especially love the color grading! I actually flew on an even older Air India A320 from TRV to BOM which previously belonged to Indian Airlines, so it was around 24 years old when I flew on it back in 2017 (delivered to Indian Airlines in 1993 with a special double-bogey landing gear). Air India is currently in the process of completely removing these old CEO aircraft (A319/A320/A321) from the fleet.
