Live recordings using a Zoom Q2 HD recorder and occasionally Sony H400B bridge camera.

Videos sometimes shaky, but the sound quality usually very good depending upon the circumstances prevailing at the time of recording, eg.,some of the larger venues a bit hollow, more intimate venues best, Festival recordings outside even better, often video can be from a distance. Head/earphones for best sound.
These recordings are part of my happy times preserved for as long as the owners of the copyrights allow them.So far I have to thank them for allowing them to stay posted & of course the artists/bands playing.
I do not have permission from all the artists/bands to upload the videos I've posted. (I thank those who OK my use,if possible I do check )Some major league artists have the claimed copyright but still allowed them to stay& I am very grateful.
ENJOY!
Music is the source of joy and happiness in the World.

Thanks for commenting. Sadly it's not Frankie singing it's Gregor McGregor (Great voice & like Frankie from Glasgow), I should've been clearer in my description which should be, I guess, Full House play Frankie Miller. The band is made up of a friend of Frankie's Ray Minhinnett (guitar)who formed Full House with Frankie back in 1976 & other players from various top acts

@@IOW70 Thank you for clarifying. He does sound a lot like Frankie and though he doesn't look like Frankie much it's hard to imagine what Frankie's health has done to his appearance and I was so overjoyed to see and hear what could be Frankie, I jumped too soon. Now clarified, I'm still glad to see Frankie's influence live on.

Thanks for commenting & watching my video. It was a great evening. I have always had trouble with videoing when bands use red lights, the definition /contrast is gone. I was stood just in front of the mixing/lighting desks, there I get the best sound & I like the dancing audience. I mainly record for the sound, the video is a bonus, my little Zoom Q2HD doesn't have any stabilisation I have to hold as still as possible, at the end of a gig I ache from the effort but I love to have a record of the gigs I go to,different genres & venues. The only band that put in a complaint against uploads on my channel was Marilliom at a festival (I got a copyright strike & ironically I not a fan of their music😄). If I can I ask permission to post on YT from the bands. I guess you've seen the other uploads I have of the Peatbog Faeries (at Stroud a few months back & a year before , they are a real friendly bunch of guys). I will be uploading more later.

Unfortunately, Zal's Sin Dogs disbanded not long after this, I traveled halfway across England to the Whitby Rocks (Videos of this event on my channel) in 2019 where Zal was topping the bill along with Ken Pustelnik's Groundhogs & Stray only to find the Sin Dogs had withdrawn as Zal had left, they were replaced by the John Verity Band (ex Argent guitarist). Hopefully, Zal will be back soon.

Thanks for commenting. I loved Zal's set & I wish I had bought the CD they were selling at the signing tent(private pressing so rare now). As I've explained in my previous uploads on my channel my little recorder (ZoomQ2 HD) doesn't have stabilisation so can at times be shakey, but sound usually good. The week was very windy (many festivals cancelled), the stage was swaying so the rear screen was lowered a bit letting light through, this meant I had trouble seeing the small screen on my recorder so I drifted at times as well. I have posted more from this gig/festival on my channel & lots more (340 uploads more to come) bands/solo artists, genres & locations/venues. Thanks for commenting. It was great to see/hear Martin. There are another 3 uploads from Martin Barre Band @ Cropredy on my channel. I wish I had stayed down the front to record one of my favourite songs (& more) from the album 'Stand Up', 'New Day Yesterday', the other is 'We Used To Know' or as it was renamed on a later release song from The Eagles, 'Hotel California'. I know many do not agree, but when I first heard HC I loved it but had a nagging thought that it was because I had heard it before, so I listened to HC over & over then it came to me, it's not exactly the same but the structure of the song, the solos & the phrasing are so similar. Ian Anderson is very magnanimous when asked about the similarities, if the 'boot was on the other foot' I believe it would've ended up in court.

Thanks for commenting. I think the booking probably took place after the previous successful appearance by Zal's Sin Dogs on the Brasenose Arms garden stage during a previous Cropredy Festival. I remember hearing a great rendition of a SAHB song being played when I was in the camping field nearby & saying to my wife "Wow, somebody's playing a great version of Faith Healer", I wish I had made my way straight there to hear& see Zal & band. I never realised they were playing there. I'm glad I recorded this all be it a bit shaky. I later went to see Zal headlining at the Whitby Rocks Festival (Whitby Pavillion) & he canceled, the upside was Ken Pustelnik's Groundhogs took over as the headline act playing the whole of Thank Christ For The Bomb album (some on my channel along with Stray & The John Verity Band (ex Argent).
