Nice video and good information. I wouldn’t recommend the plastic pipe hanger material because it could become brittle over time and possibly crack/break. It is easier to use but the extra effort to use the galvanized steel material (or even a polyester high strength strap is worth it in the long run I think.
They have a foam type in all colors at the dollar store u can use that blacks out really well. Used rhem.camping once n in a car. Worked good. Never thought of that for my windows behind my curtains even my balck outs or diy blackouts hmm i get alot of heat in my apt on one side. Great idea they say use white so the sun reflects it. I also.find reflectics dont woek n tinfil is a pain but works well. If i glued the tinfoil to w board r rhe boards ie used be perfect. Can tae rhe down n put up easier

Great vid! Just curious if these shade block out the heat entering the room due to the exposure of the sun during the day. My apartments two big windows are always facing the sun throughout the day and it's just unbearable when I get home. Too hot.
How do you raise the paper blind easily, for example when you want to work at a desk during the day. Last week I bought a very similar blackout paper blind, though not from IKEA and I bought it for the same reason, namely insomnia caused by ambient light especially during the summer. However, I've found collapsing the concertina is frustrating. Although the blind did come with plastic clips, I find plastic clothes pegs are easier to use. My latest method is to raise the centre first, clip with a clothes peg, then raise each side and clip. But it's not instantaneous like if you had a proper blind with a cord. So how do you raise these blinds?
how much Amps in average this remote starter will drain from battery?? Without remote starter power consumption in my car Honda Civic is about 0.04Amps. After remote starter installation battery drainage will be about 0.10 Amps, more, less ? Any specification in that matter??
I definitely need to try something like this. I am not a morning person. And I have the problem where the curtains don’t block all of the light. It peaks through the top. I might run to Home Depot and check out what I read. In the other comments. I also have a craft store right across the street from where I live. So first I’m going to check out what options they have. I might just buy some really thick, dark material And just tack it to the wall. At this point, I don’t care. I wake up every morning when the sun starts coming up. I do get back to sleep, but I hate always waking up when the room starts getting lighter.
I know this is old a old video. But it's still a product that's being sold and I'm interested in. My question is: if you start the device... Then unplug the device and then plug it back in... Is it on? Or do you have to turn it on? I'm planning on using it in my Smarthome and need a device that saves the last setting after being without electricity
I've been camping in a similar size hatchback. I own a portable battery similar to a jackery to power my electronics while I'm on the road but I don't think it's enough for cooking or heating. Unfortunately, it is a little tight for me especially during poor weather and with all my sporting equipment. Currently prefer tent sleeping to my car setup, as it's much easier to take stuff out than rearrange all the gear for sleeping. Hoping I can refine my setup and live happily on the road.
I'm verklempt. I don't have any handles to hang it on, no metal so I can't use magnets. Nothing to clip it to. I'm looking to do some stealth camping in my Dodge Caravan. Ideas, anyone?
