Yep - My wife is facing this - OBGYN says "everything is fine" - does not provide any data or hormone level numbers - simply blows off the complete lack of desire and it's killing the marriage. funny, I get my T levels checked an I am provided with the exact numbers, levels and what they mean - but my Wife gets "everything is fine" - I call bullsh*t

unalive. OMG you hit the nail on the head with this exact description. I'm 53 and have been suffering with horrific symptoms since 46 so its like so many years of what can only be described as torture (and which continues with new and random symptoms all the time) has left me feeling physically, emotionally and spiritually unalive. I just started MHT 7 weeks ago and hope it helps, esp with the brain dysfunction

Both men and women need to stop going to doctors without knowledge of what they DON'T want as a treatment. Just be upfront, say no anti-depressants, no therapy (if you think the problem isn't behavioral) and don't leave until you get a satisfactory answer.
